Origin are actually using their massive discounting ability to offer some impressive discounts on EA games, valid until midnight AEDT tonight.

If you head over to the Origin online store you can grab Dead Space 1 for $4.50, Dead Space 2 for $6, and the entire Mass Effect Trilogy for $39 (normally $70).

Meanwhile, Dragon Age: Origins and the sequel are $10 each, Crysis is just $4.50 (what is this, Steam?) and Battlefield 3‘s various expansions are anywhere from $10 – $12 (if you’re not a Premium member).

As the title says, EA Origin Store are having an Australia Day sale where, until January 29 (Tuesday, for those of you playing along at home) you can grab a bunch of titles for $9.99 each.

Games on sale include Dragon Age: Origins, Awakening, Dragon Age 2, Dead Space 1 and 2, Mass Effect 1 and 2, Battlefield 1942, 2142, BC2, BC2: Vietnam, and even games like Alice, Bulletstorm and Spore. Check out the full list of titles right here.

For some reason both Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age: Origins have Digital Deluxe Editions priced at the same price as the regular vanilla editions, so if you are looking to buy one of them, grab the Deluxe one instead! Weird.

If you’re one of the six billion people on earth who apparently weren’t too impressed with Duke Nukem Forever, it’s time to relive the glory days with a depressingly small 35MB download of Duke Nukem 3D: Atomic Edition from GOG.com.

The giveaway marks the launch of their 2012 DRM-FREE HOLIDAY SALE, which is worthy of the all-caps and has 474 different titles on sale from now until January 3rd.

THQ’s recent financial troubles aren’t a secret to anybody, but I didn’t realise we were at the point where buying their games was akin to giving away money to struggling indie developers. And yet, today, the internet is abuzz with the news of The Humble THQ Bundle, where you can get some of PC gaming’s biggest titles for basically nothing.

Check this: the bundle includes Darksiders, Metro 2033, Red Faction: Armageddon, Company of Heroes, and its expansions Opposing Fronts and Tales of Valor. If you pay $5.64 or more you’ll even unlock Saints Row the Third, one of the best and most stupidly fun games I’ve ever played. Oh, and you get all the soundtracks for free. Have you even heard the Saints Row soundtrack? That shiz is banging.

All the games redeem through Steam too, so there’s no need to download or install any wacky software — although, unlike previous Humble Bundles, there is no Linux or Mac support and, yes, Steam does mean DRM. This deal runs for the next 12 days, so get in before the average price goes up. Each of these games is worth at least $5 alone, and now you can get literally all of them for $5. I don’t understand, and I don’t care. Get in.

The Steam Autumn Sales are rolling on well into their fifth day, with a variety of bargain-licious bargains up for grabs. Today brings Dishonored down to $40 (read our review), Orcs Must Die! 2 down to a ridiculous $3.74 (check out our review here), and Torchlight II is just $10 (yes, we reviewed that too).

Elsewhere, Civilization V is about as cheap as it’ll ever be at $17.50, and Batman: Arkham City‘s GOTY edition is ridiculously good value at $7.50.

Yesterday’s deals on Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, Shogun 2 and Borderlands 2 are ending soon as well, so head over to the Steam store and cheapen the hell out of some intellectual property.

If you’re enjoying the Steam sales but wishing some of the bigger titles were a bit more discounted, you might want to hold off until Green Man Gaming’s weekend sale kicks off. Starting from 00:01 GMT on Friday (that’s 11:00 AM Sydney time on Friday 23rd), you’ll be able to grab Dishonored for $30, Skyrim for $30, and Doom 3: BFG for just $15.

Then, at 12:01 GMT on the same day (11:00 PM Sydney time), more titles will go on sale: XCOM: Enemy Unknown for $37, Borderlands 2 for $45, and The Darkness II for $15.

We’re assured by GMG that there will be even more titles on sale than these highlights, so stop by and take a look once the sale kicks off at the Green Man site. These sale prices are good until 11:00 AM next Tuesday.

Multiple developers are now confirming that the Steam Autumn Sale is slated to run from November 21 to November 27.

Joystiq is reporting that Tamás Bakó, CEO of Artery Studios, is claiming that Valve contacted him about putting Secrets of the Magic Crystals on sale, revealing the dates that it would take place.

The Winter Sale dates were also revealed: a mere month later, from December 20 to January 4. Gentlemen, start your wallets.

Although the Click Frenzy website has gone down due to heavy traffic, you can still get to the sites of partners which have agreed to have Mad Salez (TM) during “Australia’s first digital sale event”. One of those is WOW HD, which is having 20% off all games and, as a result, some pretty mad savings.

Prices include Far Cry 3 for a mere $26, Assassin’s Creed III for $32, and XCOM: Enemy Unknown for $35. Meanwhile, Hitman: Absolution is down to just $26 as well, Dishonored is a steal at $31, and Diablo III is down to just $52.

Perhaps to celebrate the announcement of the next game in the franchise, Grand Theft Auto IV: The Complete Edition is on sale on Steam. Usually setting you back about $30, The Complete Edition, which includes all DLC is now $7.50, a huge 75% off. It is, in fact, the same price the buy the game without any of the DLC. So there you have it — it is, appropriately, a steal.

If you already own the game and just need to pick up the DLC though, they are also on sale. Episodes from Liberty City would usually cost you another $20 on its own, but is now down to just $5.

So if you’ve been putting off buying this one, or are suddenly interested due to the announcement of the next game, now is the time to buy! The sale will contine for the next 44 hours after the time of writing, so just under two days. Get purchasin’!

Today marks the 10th anniversary of the Battlefield series and, to celebrate, EA are having a sale! The primary game of interest for many will of course be Battlefield 3, which is on sale for a paltry $20 (although not nearly as paltry as the $10 our US friends are paying for it).

You’ll also find savings across the rest of the Battlefield range: Bad Company 2 AND Bad Company 2: Digital Deluxe Edition are both $10 (bizarre), and Battlefield 2142 is also down to $10.
