Do you like realistic, authentic military shooters? Seems like they’re the only genre people are clamoring for these days, and yet the latest Kickstarter project promising exactly that is falling well short of its target. Ground Branch is being developed by former Valve and Red Storm employees, who worked on the original Ghost Recon games, so it’s not like it’s a bunch of nobodies saying, “Give us all your money!” And yet, with 22 hours to go (at the time of this writing), the project has barely a quarter of what it’s asking for, at $104,000 of $425,000.
If it sounds like something that interests you, there’s still time to pledge money, and if, say, you’ve been living under a rock and don’t know how Kickstarter works, I’ll remind you that money won’t be taken from you unless the target is met, the game is made, and the rewards are given.
