Been wanting a swag for a while, saw that Anaconda Adventures had a pretty decent easter sale going on and bit the bullet.

Awesome, I've been looking at buying a swag for some time so you'll have to let me know how it goes. Namely the mattress size, as I'm 2m tall I want something that's long enough lol.

Just grabbed the specs for that model from their website:

Sleeping capacity: 1
Seasons: 4
Design type: Tunnel
Canopy fabric: 340g heavy duty ripstop canvas with zip around sand fly mesh
Floor fabric: PVC
Fly fabric: 340g heavy duty ripstop canvas
Poles: 1
Poles material: Aluminium
Doors: 1
Ventilation: Double zip air vent with sand-fly mesh at foot
Floor dimensions: 75 x 200 cm
Floor area: 1.5 msq
Interior height: 60 cm
Packed size: 26.5 x 25.5 x 58 cm
Weight: 4276 g
Primary activity(s): Hunting, fishing, 4wd adventures, weekend camping & domestic travel
Warranty: 24 months

Looks as though it's 2 meters long, I don't know that you'd find many longer than that? Oh the woes of being a taller **** Can't complain about their prices though, normally that kind of dosh will only buy you a crappo one. Can't wait for it to get here and I'll season it up and test it out :D

If it's wide enough I could just sleep a bit diagonal, I just want a cheap swag as I won't use it that often.

Niiiceeeee, I have a Mini-REVO, Absolutely love it, running it on LIPO's, bloody thing flies! I've been thinking about grabbing it's bigger brother with the Castle Mamba ESC/Motor, would love to have something that heavy duty.

I like your thinking! Because I'd have done exactly the same xD

Anyways, I've been holding off on a lot of purchases recently, so I could buy this:

A bit weird to get used to from my old MR2, but it's so nice to be in, I don't have to brace for small bumps in the road anymore xD

@vanderlan,

for cheap swags checkout sales in big stores, but if you want something thats semi-decent and reliable look up Oztrail swags...

i bought one for the old man a few years back, and by far its one of the best we have had (including our hand made one lol) try and get them with ykk zippers and ask about breathability, the oztrail was very good for breathing and the mattress is pretty decent. im just over 2m and sleep like a baby in it.

Also i'm onboard for 'GoN learns Japanese' i wish i had paid more attention in school and followed it up more closely.... :3

I know a few blokes who have Dune swags and rate them pretty well, but time will tell :D I can't really complain for the price though, I''ll season it and then give it a test run :D

Am I the only one that doesn't see the point in having a watch nowadays given the proliferation of smartphones?
