Wild West/"3FL" map reset vote

Wild West/"3FL" map reset vote

Unread postby spynoob » 6 Mar 13, 3:59 am

Hello minecraft users. For those of you that play on the 3FL or the Wild West server. I am possible thinking about a new map or seed for the 1.5 patch that is coming out.

In return I'd copy over (if I can) your house or a building (no chests included will be brought over). Or something else that I haven't thought of yet.

Your thoughts?

Yes or no? And why.

If I don't already know your minecraft name post your name :p.

In favour 6
Against 3 (maybe 4)
Don't care 3

Going to end this poll on the 20th you have 13 days left ;)

Ha ha it would be vanilla until a stable version of bukkit would be released.

Though even when bukkit gets a stable release the plan is to let them only TP.

I'm fine either way, it's fun building up from scratch. Technically, however only the Nether needs regenerating, to obtain Nether Quartz (without powering through the nether to generate new chunks).

It's nice to explore without having to walk for 12 straight hours...

don't worry xiq already chaulked your vote in ;P

is that a yes or a no rupert? :P

it is always nice to explore and get away from everyone else and build things up, it is nice to start fresh, it's nice to start in a new seed that isn't ruined by lovely people who like to xray, fly, or use other mods which helps the character

Hux! :D

What I would be willing to do. (If I can) is copy and save a building or structure of players. And move it to a location once they found where they want to live on the new seed (if we get one). This building or structure will have no hidden chests or grinders inside of it. It won't be made of gold or emerald or anything ore related. It will be a house or a structure that's it :p.

I thought about current armour but everyone runs around in diamond enchanted stuff.

Would it be possible for you to transfer my whole base? (Without the chests of course). I am happy to recollect resources, but I don't like the idea of rebuilding the base.

Spy1der please don't reset the map a lot of people have put alot of effort into their builds and their items on this server and have done so multile times. We don't want to have to do it all over again.
