Firefox is now working for me, must've fixed it now.

EDIT: Well Chrome and IE are still mobile. No clue...

If you have ran into this issue please post the exact version of the web browser and user agent. Eg, I'm using chrome on OSX right now without any issues. It's Version 24.0.1312.57 and by going to: http://whatsmyuseragent.com we get the following.

Your User Agent String is:
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_7_5) AppleWebKit/537.17 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/24.0.1312.57 Safari/537.17

Current additional user agent settings for WPTouch:

I'm pretty confident that it is a user agent issue related to our website caching. You really shouldn't be receiving the mobile version of the site.

I do not have visibility to the user agent settings for caching on the production environment, if you have any suggestions let me know and I'll submit a request to have this reviewed by our staff :). There will be no changes made if we can not determine the cause of this issue.

My IE that is doing it - Version 8.7600.16385

Yes that's old, I don't use IE except when checking a page, so haven't bothered upgrading it. :)

Edit:
I refreshed IE it still gave the mobile version - I logged in, it gave the correct front page on return to page.
New issue the logout won't on my IE (logs out fine on chrome)
