Advice needed. Budget Harddrive (under $100)

Well according to wiki there are only 3 hard drive manufacturers; Seagate, WD and Toshiba.....so that Lenovo drive is probably a Seagate/WD and you've just punished no one Treloar

Toshiba are woeful, I got one of their HDD's and it lasted 6 months and died. Trying to effect warranty was a joke, in the finish I emailed them and they emailed me back stating they couldn't effect warranty to me via email and to call the provided number... on calling the number the operator comes on and states the number has been disconnected.

I'm considering to just mail the drive to them in appropriate packaging and hope they get the idea and send me a new one.

Edit: I can't send them the drive now as it's warranty period expired, regardless of the fact I contacted them when the toshiba HDD was in warranty when it 1st failed, if I send it to them support will cost $66 - toshiba can go get stuffed I'd rather buy a competitors HDD.
