Still $49.99 on GMG... for now:

Wonder how long before there'll be an (AUS) release for $79.95 or more.

It's actually cheaper to buy from EB as opposed to Steam and you get more stuff.

I don't think GMG has the LE.

For preorders they currently have a working 25% off coupon:

GMG25-XTYYZ-POSL1

and also the choice of $3 store credit, or $2 cashback :)

I came across this and had to post it as I had my suspicions already and seeing this puts me on the back foot thinking I'll wait for a steam sale....

While normally I wouldn't let a video sway me, and I also got a few lols, it seems that if you put the time into making a video that conveys his annoyances at the game, then some others would feel similar. 5 hours for the campaign I was hoping for more, something along the lines of 8hours+ for SP and then engaging many more hours in MP. Seems its hyper hype hype for a short SP showing off all the goodness, then leaving no adverts or admissions for MP and we have to find out for ourselves.. I do not like having to buy games to be disappointed time and time again.

Wow. The rank up bit was HILARIOUS! I knew there was something to street date being broken and reviews embargoed until tomorrow.

I know I had a non-contained chuckle there too, and as it stands, I'm awaiting reviews to get out there, then of course hear the fellow GON users reactions before I make my final decision on this one..

While I don't always look for the best graphics and try to liken the gameplay elements moreso, this one looks pretty bad itself,I figured OK using UT3 engine is a fail (personal preference I do not like the engine's MAXIMUM capability that keeps getting put out if your looking to promote something new then make it so, UT3 is not new, Maximum details on UT3 does not compare to other engines Medium details...as for the cutscenes as some games are skinned differently but have the exact mechanics as their predecessors or key failures taken from other campaigns (sub 5 hours to complete) and using a story some fans know and love, delve into it for a little while then disengage the story and drive forward the teams re-written story,.. Seems bad, I'd rather the whole game go into the lore of ALIENS, not just use it to throw out a game that isnt polished or deeply driven by the original story we all fell in love with, the potential for a story driven Aliens game that goes for 9+ hours with modern graphics engines would be a killer thing to behold.
As I'm a huge fan of Aliens in general this is probably a must buy regardless of any flaws apparent, just so I can have my cake and eat it too :)
Its like..... you have a love, they have a love, but the love child..is not quite right...
Sorry for the ranting, must be the hour...

Thanks for that... I was just about to give in and buy but that made me see sense. I can wait.

Yeah, but is it going to skew my view on the game and give me preconceptions? I like watching reviews after playing a game but sad experience has taught me to stop reading reviews beforehand.
