I must say I'm quite partial to the Rail Detonator and Concussion Rifle from Jedi Knight. Good times.

This. Except CS 1.6 I probably would have been one of the top 5 in those stats...never did take the gold though :P

I love the feeling when you kill someone with the tmp, half the time they rage and also 50% of the time when I get killed by the TMP, I rage my self ! Same for the scout, I get headshotted = instant rage.

I must say, I just love the Awp in cs. The over powering sound from Cs1.6 - Source in the awp makes you feel like your in control of the whole map.

Team downs with a TMP were absolutely hilarious. Early on in the source days, it was just **** good for lower dark rushes on Dust 2. Just bonkers hahaha.

Everyone is apparently forgetting the four barrels of explosive goodness from Quake 2's Super shotgun.

The Ratchet and Clank series had a few gems. The various iterations of the RYNO were always lots of fun. The Lava gun did exactly what ti said on the tin, which was spew LAVA at enemies. The Suck Cannon was always amazing and sticks out as one of the first times in a game you could use an enemy to your advantage.

Fallout 3/NV had some brilliant guns, too. The Ripper was brutally hilarious. Let's not forget Frag Mines, either.

scout from cs 1.6 and CS:S (made a video with the gun in my teenage years).

lincolns repeater from fallout 3. amazing sound, great aim, awesome damage.

revolver from HL2. the feel and sound of it were great and seeing enemies heads snap back when shot was hilarious.

BoTD from D2. a runeword I saved up ages for, made myself and used for ages.

honourable mentions go to the pump shotgun from cs/cs:s, saw/gun (lancer) from gears of war purly for the chainsaw part, C4 in BC2 and that's all I can think of right now.

Can you go wrong with the Scout/AWP/dgl from original CS?
I'd add more but honestly, I don't think I've used anything as much as those 3.

Can't believe I am the only lover of Unreal Tournaments Redeemer :( Firing it off and controlling its flight, circling it over your victims head whilst they try in vain to shoot it down, then steering it down into the biggest group you could find for mass death was pure joy. GODLIKE!

Too many youngins me thinks :P

I think the Gravity Gun from HL2 may have been the first to really impress me as something unique.
So much fun sucking up and tossing those rag dolls at each other, almost too easy.
And you have to admire the simplicity of using a combat knife on someone and scoring their dog tags.
That ping from the M1 was a sweet effect too.
Too many fun weapons from many games to choose a definitive favorite, but.

I just wasn't a PC gamer back then, I'd already seen the same thing in Perfect Dark (the Slayer I mentioned earlier).

of course that came out a year after UT but its still where I saw it first :P
