From what I've read, kill the Hydra in Darkroot Gardens, get a pendant from Dusk of Oolacile, go somewhere and do something with the pendant, then head back to where you first met Dusk.

I read that you kill a new golem in Duke's Archives, who drops the Pendant - then take it to Dusk of Oolacile and a portal opens nearby (obviously you'll need to have nailed the Hydra).

Woah, flashback. After making it to Anor Londo in very short order, I'm again completely stuck on the part where you have to run the buttress and take out the Silver Knight Archer. GodDAMN.

I has no magic either having gone for a high END/STR character so my only option is to run up and attempt to dodge arrows. Despite the angle of arrow hits meaning I should be pushed towards the wall, it invariable pushes me off the ledge.

Rawr.

Did some cat covenant pvp last night and after losing after 2 backstabs and 2 riposte's against a dude we started talking. He was 100 sl's ahead of me and so the next time we fought he dropped some of the new content stuff for me. A dagger that has A dex scaling and 150crit. And a sword that has A dex. Both have unique attack animations.

Anyone addicted yet?

I have three achievements left on box, all miracles, weapons and all achievements. Currently trying to get Siegmund through Anor Londo, problem is I killed the princess which means even if I rest at her bonfire, if I die I respawn at the first bonfire which has no firekeeper meaning long runs back to that roomful of silver knights.

On PC, I just levelled to 32 strength meaning I can weild my +3 BKH. Donned the Stone armour for poise and smacked the **** out of those pesky archers on the Anor Londo buttresses. Finding it difficult to summon player phantoms (keeps failing) however I'm easily invaded every ten minutes (and boy are some of those people clueless). Wishing I had magic but it's finally time to make my warrior with full havels and a big-arse sword!

I joined Blade of the Darkmoon to try and get some pvp, but can't seem to get too much. Thinking of just pushing through to the Kiln or NG+

I got sidetracked with the new WoW patch. Gotta get back into this, hopefully over the weekend I can kill that stupid demon.

In the new content now. Lots of Deaths and stumbling around trying to find stuff so far.

I never thought pruning shears would be so hard to deal with.

Sadly I can't seem to find much multiplayer. I suspect there are huge problems with the matchmacking as it seems to be selling ok and I can jump onto xbox and find summons or pvp relatively easily, even with the dwindling population there.

Agreed! I had to try for a summons on Four Kings for three nights before I got the right person to help me (as in, three nights and I got just three successful summons, two of whom had nfi of how to play the game). However, in that time I was invaded maybe 10 times?

Crazy. Once I get past my current F1 obsession (currently reviewing F1 2012) I'll get back into it, really eager to see the new stuff.

Arg, I've shamefully put about an hour into this game over the past few weeks. I'm afraid it's gonna have to go on the backburner for a rainy day. Thankfully this type of game never really ages, it's always going to make me cry

alright fools, heres a tip:

know your enemy.

case study:
me, sl 480, +5 black knight gear

in a tight hallway, dark spirit decides to use fire surge. I smashed his face with my greatsword and took no dmg. laughs all round by cool people.

Exactly.

Now read it back in an incredulous voice.
