32 minutes? Back when I was queuing, 32 minutes would have been a blink of an eye to us! We used to dream of 32 minute queues!

Can we have a server that plays the advanced missions? Been playing through the 3 default ones today and now i've sussed some good upgrade paths, they're pretty easy.

Also - you can just join a server through the server browser instead of using the MvM matchmaker

I persevered with the matchmaker earlier for a good half hour and ended up getting dumped in a 200ms server located who knows where. Bloody useless.
Hopefully Valve has some good fixes in the works for all the issues.

Some of those advanced mission are pretty hard. Melee speed upgrade works well on the tanks. And fully upgraded jarate is awesome.

TF2 is up to 120k players a day.

So far I've enjoyed this game type, granted played on 30-50ping mainly on Decoy and coaltown.

I haven't gotten a shot at man up mode yet due to the servers being bricked. To be honest Australia has always gotten the **** end of the stick when it came to server allocation because we're so damn far away. Maybe Robin walker will remember us and throw us a bone or two.

I find the only main issue the game seems to suffer from is teamwork that really just doesn't exist 90% of the time on pubs, either because you have a 12 year old who thinks he's the worlds greatest sniper, or a medic who forgets there's more than the heavy he's been overhealing for the last 5 waves. And with only 6 slots available what are the odds you're going to get 6 decent players..

I guess the best way to get around this is to play with people you know.
So my proposal is that some of us start to go on regular servers to see how we go with each other, and then when we feel we are ready, jump into Man up mode and make sure we reap the rewards =D.

Every time we spin up a new server for MvM, within a minute or two it'll have players on it. Unfortunately MvM is horribly inefficient as far as player slots go, so while we now have 50 (!!!) TF2 servers running, I don't think we've really gained any more space for players. We probably lost a few slots.

That said, right now, this is a fun game mode!

Looks like an update has just been released for TF2, fixes a bunch of bugs related to MvM.

I'm patching the servers now.

The GON servers are now saying that they only accept connections via matchmaking. Is this supposed to be the case? I can't connect through the server browser any more.
