Warfare BE 2.073 beta

So, our dear delusional Benny has released his threesome Warfare in early beta form. And immediately it's concept is flawed.

The third team is the resistance team. This team starts off with all the towns under their control, so a supply upgrade rush would be awesome.

But because you have every town, you instantly know where each team's base is as they attack the towns would be a total give away. This causes major problems as I'm sure certain members of our community (freeborne) just wont be able to help themselves.

The positives of this version thus far are that it'll support up to 48 players. As for the GON server, it probably wont.

Oh mighty powers that be.... what are our changes of upgrading the Warfare server?


Lot's of new Warfare players.... quite a few I imagine overflowing from the DayZ servers. It will just get worse as players get bored of DayZ and want to try ARMA2.

UHAX's Warfare will blow 2.073 out of the water :P

I welcome a 3 sided warfare, despite possible balancing headaches, and I doubt the word restraint is part of Freebornes vocabulary.

Is UHAX editing 2.073?

Still I'd like to see the three sided match tried before we all trash it. :lol:

ye id like to see it tried too, but balancing is the key word, and we have a hard enough time doing that with 2 teams.

im sure freeborne would love it tho, it means he has twice as many bases to run striaght for as soon as the game starts.

WTF is with all the "Freeborne's an evil base hunter" hypocracy?

You all do it. I only do it "too early" occasionally, usually to make a point against team stackers or balancing issues. If I encounter a base early otherwise I'll just go for the B or toy with players and kill them until I die.

So what happens when Team 1 dies? Do they move evenly to different teams or have to go back to the lobby? Does a 33 man mission get reduced to 22 slots until the mission ends?

I see so many problems with a possible 3-sided Warfare that I doubt Benny has addressed most of them (going off his track record for past 2 years in not fixing some of the most basic issues).

UHAX is editing 2.072, and having seen 2.073 changes, I expect that version will be skipped. When Benny releases Warfare "3" then everyone will rebuild their Warfare versions again I imagine. 2.073 will probably be a failed release the way it's going.
