I'm sure they allow the servers of other games which frequently release DLC Maps for a fee, which cannot be played without buying said DLC, such as BF3 and it's expansions to run these dlc content maps. I don't see why a map vetted and approved of by the community/server admin team which is accessible for free would be an issue.

I don't know about other communities, but for ArmA in particular, mandatory mods seem to be a no-no. Now, an admin is free to come in and tell me I'm wrong, but that's the general consensus I've got from reading other posts (notably the warfare thread and units from the czech republic DLC)

I'd honestly rather missions with set objectives and assets made to be played for an hour or two. Eg, Russian Armor company must strike through to Berezino to complete an encirclement within 2hrs. Opposition is USMC light infantry. Or USMC must para-drop in and destroy enemy SAM sites before dawn break. The crack about going back to the game ending once heavy air went up is not what I want. It's exact opposite actually. The constant cycle of just infantry, tank, tank, tank, air is just utterly boring to me now.

Let's go back to the game practically ending when OPFOR getting a Kamov/Su34 up

....

i know where your coming from and personally i enjoyed better like that then what it has been lately .. so when is it going to balance ? if you want to go **** for tat then you better remove some blufor rifle's ( ones i don't use anyway ) and why the hell do i have to use 30rnd mags with a mg36 ?.. also your never going to balance a game with unbalanced team's ( nothing to do with player count ) i would prefer a couple quick games then 1 drawn out 8 hour game .. i might start charging 4.95 a min because i can tell 9/10 times which team is winning or going to win by looking at the teams before i join a game

i forgot to add a couple dots

........

Yes. Everyone, give into the anger. Then your transformation will be complete.

The biggest problem will be to get people to play properly. All to easy to screw up a mission on purpose if people want to be disruptive. Hell look at the discussion on Civil Warfare both on here and in the game. people straight up said "I don't care if others have fun with it, I can't get my tank or air easy so i'll base-hunt from the get go." Nothing kills a server better than terrible attitudes.

But in this case, i *do* hate the game. It's meant to be fun, it can be fun as well as slightly more serious/realistic than BF COD. Vehicle and other spam ruins it. If people want BF gameplay... there's an app for that.

Imp, Xerxes and 6th, all bagging out Warfare. All 3 dont't play much Warfare to begin with. If your not here to try to improve Warfare, find another thread to have your rants please.

BTW, AUSARMA Warfare has Reshmaan Province, just needs someone to port the mission across and give it a try.
