On people complaining about rego, I found the difference between playing on a server with 50 ping and 70 ping significant. The 50 my rego felt fine, the 70 I couldn't hit anything.

Wozah, that changelog nearly took up all the space on the internetz.

I pre-ordered the other day, without really knowing anything about it other than having played CS:S quite heavily a couple years ago. Now, to play the beta or just wait for the final product... can I break my current BF3 addiction...

Having played with the new patch I can say that they are making it pretty damn awesome. Skinnier models are much better, like 1.6. Rego feels much better as well.

I had massive lag when firing though, had to delete my config before it was playable. Still getting FPS drop which is annoying but it seems to be fairly widespread. I'm sure they do something to remedy the problem.

same, just had my first go post-over-one-gig-patch and its awesome!

It had sort of flirted between good and bad for a while on the beta but its definitely headed in a good direction. The hit rego/gun handling has taken a massive step in the right direction. Feels great.
