I just requested that the new client be put up. The correct one is 1to29, currently the GON one is out of date.

I'm still playing, even more so now, with all the bonuses from continuing to subscribe levelling is ridiculously easy! Plus making money is on the same par.

With arena and a BG now, i can't wait for the next content update. Guaranteed to come is 4 new raids, atleast one is a 20 man, plus they have PvP sieges on the list to, which is what i'm waiting for the most

I downloaded the client from games.on.net yesterday (latest version) and installed as per the instructions. I'm getting the "unable to contact reliable source" error message. Not sure if others are getting the same error but if so any work around suggestions would be great!

From what I'm reading from others with the same issue it relates to the files:

Also if I am ever able to get in... what server is everyone playing on?

Hi. I just found out today that Tera has become free to play and would like to try it. I spent a couple of hours downloading the full client from games.on.net (1-29) but found that it is outdated. The patcher does not want to update to 29 before grabbing update 30, and is trying to download the entire 25G, which I cancelled as soon as I realised it. Any way for the latest client to be available on games.on.net? The request form stated that the download link request must be a direct download, which I could not find. Got me puzzled over how the client is hosted here....

I also found this. I've downloaded all the relevant files from 1 to 32 yet the patcher then attempts to reload the full client. Not sure what the problem is but if anyone has an idea it would be greatly appreciated

There are a couple of things to try.

Firstly, did you remove/rename the beginning video files so they don't run whenever you start the game? If this is so, then you need to restore them. They removed that little workaround a while ago and your client will chuck a hissy fit and try to download everything again or not work. If you don't have them, let me know and I can provide them for you.

Secondly, check out this link and try these. I know you aren't getting the error but it's kind of the standard 'what to do when Tera won't work' thing.

I was wondering this myself as I can't spare the quota to download the full Rift client after I accidentally logged in and started my free month count down but need to wait till the end of the month to download it now.
