Games On Net - Olympian Registration

UPDATE - REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED - HOWEVER EACH GAME WILL HAVE A NUMBER OF SUBSTITUTES - IF YOU MISSED OUT CHECK THE GAME'S SPECIFIC THREAD WHEN IT BECOMES AVAILABLE!

Okay guys, there's been a good amount of interested so I'm gonna' go ahead and get this under-way.

I'd like all those interested in participating to reply to this thread with the games (from the list below) that they would be interested in playing, as well as what night/nights of the week that would be best for them.

After I've got the numbers down I'll do my best to split the players into two teams and from there we can get underway. I liked the suggestion of team captains for each event as that would really help take some of the load of my shoulders when it comes to putting together squads for the team events, so if you're keen on captaining - put that in your reply too.

As I'm sure we'll have more than enough numbers for some of these events there is is possibility of a third team or failing that, "A" and "B" squads to ensure everyone get's a go.

Here are the available events;

6v6 - Best of three maps (MAPS TBA)

Battle Field 3 - IN NEED OF A SERVER

10v10 - Best of three maps (MAPS TBA - RUSH MODE)

10v10 - Best of three maps (MAPS TBA - DOMINATION MODE)

Starcraft II

1v1 - Best of three maps (MAPS TBA)

2v2 - Best of three maps (MAPS TBA)

Call of Duty 4

8v8 - Best of three maps (MAPS TBA - TDM)

Live For Speed

Hot Lap (TRACK/CAR TBA)

Race (TRACK/CAR TBA)

Quake Live - ANYONE WITH PRO ACCOUNT PLEASE PM ME!

Soldat

League of Legends

Registration will be left open until - SUNDAY 15th - 6PM AEST after which teams will be made and finalised.

Just a quick note both Live For Speed and Soldat are available from the Node content server so even if you don't have the other games, you can still take part.

Weeknights 8pm-10pm (assuming I do all uni stuff needed)
Friday/Sat anytime
Sunday early-9pm

I am interested. I play TF2 so I'm in on that for sure.

I'm also happy/want to play CS:S, COD4 and QL, however I haven't played these in years (CS, approaching a decade), so if anyone wants me on their team, I'll be super noobtastic.

I'll update my availability sometime tonight.
Saturday, Sunday, Monday - Free all day
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 6pm
Friday from 2pm


Question for TF2 though. Why 5v5? Seems like an odd player count. Usually it's 6v6 and/or 8v8 (for the serious players anyway).
Also if the popularity is there, I'd be very keen for TF2 highlander (9v9, one of every class). If people are not interested then nvm :P

I can be a TF2 captain if you want, but I highly doubt you will be short of TF2 captains.

I would be interested in the CSS part as a player and/or helper any day of the week

since we're going for the *for fun* deal here why not make it 10 vs 10 for css (most war maps handle that) and 4 vs 4 for SC2 and cram as many people in to each game as possible ?

Like I said, these game modes/sizes are only place-holders until I get a solid read on the amount of numbers we're going to have.

We'll see what happens :)

Please remember that we can not and will not be able to provide a private server for Battlefield 3.

As for the other games we already host, yeah we probably can help with that if desired :)

That would be great Cas, do you want to play?!

Shame about BF3 but I understand. Perhaps someone who registers will have access to a clan server, if not, well I'm unsure..
