I fired up GTR 2 the other day, and downloaded Power & Glory 3 for it, awesomeness! Also found ways to let it use more than 2gb of Ram, and assign more than one core to it. Runs soooo sweet! 50 car night race at Spa, yummy!

Stop giving me sim wood ViN I love Road Alanta too, very technical track that has a nice flow to it. Did a World Tour event on it early 2012 I think, with the LMP, was great fun! (Still love stabiz vids!)

Installed rFactor. Doesn't run with Win8.

Started up Racing Room Experience, weird error, game won't launch (hasn't for a week).

Started up pCars, got very bored, very quickly.


Resubbed to iRacing.


EDIT: it's the 13th week.. what tracks/cars are in the rookie series now? I want to know what to get practice in.

Mellie its the Trymedia DRM stopping rFactor. I had the same prob with Euro Truck Simulator. Seems Trymedia DRM and Win8 UAC dont mix well.

Fix is to get a "nocd" or cracked exe. Not something I like to do, but I legitimately own ETS, and if DRM is stopping me from using it I will look at all options.

Chalk another point up for DRM hurting legit users..

Edit: my resubb for a month ended a week ago, so not sure whats the go at the moment

Cant really remember as i didnt really look at those events, was jumping into the GT class.

As far as i know, on the road side it is still the MX5 races for rookie, but the oval side seems a bit different. Oval now seems to have dropped the fixed setup rookie Legends and now uses the Advanced Legends, with open setup. I think the Street Stock (old camaro) is also rookie oval now.

There may be another rookie road class but i forget at the moment.

Btw are you sure it is week 13? I was pretty sure week 13 happened around Christmas or after.

I renewed for a month a while ago & played for couple weeks but it was mainly practice sessions. I don't have the time to put in to do constant races & keep up with the competition anymore. I may consider renewing when they have another special for 1 or 2 year deals though just to keep on the track

New series are up. The Cadillac Cup looks like it for me, that and maybe the Mustang again. That Cadillac is a peach to drive.

I see that the Mazda Cup now has four tracks instead of two which is a bit interesting. I remember how damn hard it was to be competitive on just two!

I was nearly tempted into this again, but I'm not sure if I'll get into it again properly or just go through another phase...

Dont want to spend too much money on a game when my actual car is what I want to focus on this year
