Yeah GTR2 is a wonderfully complete racing experience. Wish I had my copy still, will snap it up if I ever find it locally.

I remember having GTR when it was just a mod for EA F1 2002, then about 3 years ago I picked it up (GTR 1) from Kmart for $1, even though it was marked as $10 (I checked with the checkout chick about the error, and was told nope, its $1) Still have it tucked away in a box somewhere. Had GTR 2 for years, but lost my copy of it, and probably wont worry again until its a Digital Download somewhere. I remember reading issues with some of the licenses were holding back GTR 2's re-release.

I don't have any hardware that runs Android, but I have a Logitech keyboard with LCD display & have plugins for that for both GTR2 & LFS (plus a heap of other games & software).
Wish I had the $$$ to buy a real MoTeC display & mount it on my wheel. From what I've read so far, with cars that have a dash that get the info. from the ECU at least, you buy the right wiring harness adapter & the MoTeC display is basically plug-&-play (or plug-&-drive ), with a small amount of display setup too.

It's made it to Steam, **** yeah! I believe it might be minus the Ferrari's though. This is an all time classic racing sim!

Awesome, will have to remeber to do that. Have done it with a number of other games too (success varies). Although I'll be using my disc release more (so not having to worry about whether or not Steam will actually let the game run [offline mode still has bugs, online too for that matter]) but nice to have a backup copy anyway.
