At first I thought this was a direct response to Ralph's comment before yours and thought " Cinema's do that now?" Then I realised you were talking about a comment further up.

Hansel and Gretel for good mindless fun.
Django Unchained is classic Tarantino gold
Lincoln or Argo if serious mood you are
Silver Linings Playbook is supposed to be quite good...

I would highly recommend Zero Dark Thirty.

Not really spoilers but I suppose you could deduct the sequence of events from my little review.

I was on the edge of my seat during the raid even though I knew the end result. Some people I went with found it boring leading up to the raid but I found the intelligence gathering to be just as interesting as the end.

Thanks!

I do love Tarantino
and I did hear things about Silver Linings Playbook

I saw Zero Dark Thirty at a friends place before it was released (one of those 'for your consideration' copies) and I really enjoyed it. I sadly only sort of half watched it towards the end as I was making waffles though so I really want to see it again when I can be fully focused to the end.

I need a play friend who I can go see movies with. It just feels so weird seeing them on your own.

Yeah I'm lucky I have a movie buddy to go to the cinemas with, though I only take her to the decent movies and less gory ones. I have another mate that goes with me to all the ones which I wouldn't normally take my movie buddy to. If anything I'm more of a movie and less of a music person.

See how this Sunday goes, you just might find a movie buddy! ;)

Well board games was fun last night. Except for a group of people playing that game where you end up shouting out numbers (i have no idea, don't ask).

But I won both games of Shadowhunters! WHOOP.

Pissed off at one of the players though, intentionally targeted and killed quickly one player who was new to the game. I would've gone after him (in game) but he was on my team. :(

Job advertised recently - said to a workmate that it looked like it had been written with me in mind - then remembered that it HAD been written with me in mind* - ten years ago - by me...

*ie it mentions a set of fairly niche skills, in barely related fields, that I happen to have
