There's a photo floating around the internet of some absolutely drunk feral lady who was so wasted, she boarded the train, took off all her clothes then decided to have a nap on the train seat. Apparently it was taken on the Midland line and the Transperth seat upholstery is very distinctive

I was on a train to Brisbane from the outer suburbs years ago with a friend and we were sitting at one end of the carriage and about 10 people all got on at once and sat together at the other end of the carriage.
It was complete silence for about 5 minutes until one of them stood up and broke into opera, at the volume you expect opera when being performed.
By the time we got to South Brisbane station they had all joined in, turns out they were on the way to work at the performing arts centre and were all pro opera singers.

That was one awesome train ride

When I worked for Cityrail in Sydney as a Transit Officer, we responded to a call about a naked woman sleeping on a train, we confronted her at Redfern Station IIRC, she was a special needs lady covered in urine who had escaped from her facility. It was a long wait for someone to come and collect her.

I remember once on the Midland line some random dude got on and started preaching. He even sounded like those American ones that end everything in "ah".

Had this just a week ago. Of course, the exclamations of Praise Jesus! were followed by a counter argument from someone standing about halfway down the carriage from him.

Also, movies seem to have a short screen time at the cinemas nowadays. Looking to go see Zero Dark Thirty which was released 31 Jan, and most cinemas in Perth are showing it only once a day now. Not a lot of options.
