Standing in line at the store today and overheard a guy on his phone telling the other person he was "still at (city X)"... (city X) is actually about 3 hours' drive away from this place...

Strangely I have been told the third one in pubs many many times and the first one when I used to fall asleep on the bus Sadly my stalkers aren't actually romantic types. They are just the sort where they act like we are boyfriend and girlfriend but without actually doing anything boyfriend/girlfriendly. I hate Nice Guys(TM)

Personally, after the terrible day I am having I wouldn't mind some chocolate. I will just not read the card. At least I have my wine chilling in the fridge for tonight!

Tell him in black and white, as short as possible with as few words as possible. There is no reason to make it long, drawn out. Do what you need to prepare yourself, maybe try writing something down so you can think about exactly what you want to say. You know the situation best, so sorry for the very general advise.

How he reacts.. well, you can't control that but you can control how you feel. People get all up with you 'owe' them something, but in the end you really don't. People don't trade favours back and forth. If he has done something nice, then he did it to be nice not because you owe him (and the other way around).

How long you been dating Trix? I find that is a factor that needs to be taken in consideration for the break up... For every one month they were with you they get 5 minutes of 'break up' time for explaining and hugging it out and ****.
