I hate leaving a whiny message in this thread, cause it is done too often, but **** moving is a pain in the arse!

@Brimlad It looks very interesting, have not seen it myself. It's mentally bookmarked as one to pick up and see in the future though :)

I have never done an official move - I've either owned or share rented with people all my life. Generally when I've left, I take a bootload with of my posessions and thats about it. I imagine it would REALLY suck though!

I've done it about four times in the past five years. Best thing is when my work pays for the move so I just ask the removal company to pack my things as well :D

Oh that would be nice!

Good news everybody.. our website is borked, IT knows this. We still send dozens of reports through about this one issue of a button not working to submit a form. IT have no idea how to fix it  It's been this way for about 2 weeks and I think they're just hoping the issue goes away.

Ahh.. off shore IT.

Haha you have no idea mate, it's dismal - our website isn't even compatible with Safari/Firefox/Chrome and tends to do all sorts of crazy things if you try to book with them. The whole thing is legitimately broken.

Also I love getting a call from someone, telling them bad news. Then they hang up and call back half a dozen times hoping for a different answer

@ DISCOLT

My company is still in the 19th century. Using candlewax for light and steam for power.
We have a tea-boy aged 7, who then cleans the chimneys and rubs down the horses. He gets the scraps at the end of the day and if lucky gets to lick the gravel clean.
Jesus himself could walk into my joinery and begin woodworking, feeling rather comfortable with the tools supplied - perhaps even suggesting a more modern hand-plane, or the invention of a new tool called a hammer.
