i also started drawing a massive canvas of a huge sail boat but it is all steampunky and instead of in water it has huge legs to walk. im doing it different by pencil drawing it all first, instead of just winging it and doing it in ink straight off. so far it looks damn good.

it's a pretty good deal. I like to help people, and I like people eating proper meals. Majority of these people can't make meals for themselves. I get out of the car, take their 3-course meal in, see that they are ok, have a quick chat and hit the road again - am doing it with my friends mum, she's the driver, i am the deliverer. small steps.. small steps..

I envy anyone that can start straight off in ink like that and still produce such awesome stuff. I always have to start in pencil, I make too many mistakes. I also can't get the hang of sketching digitally I can do everything else just fine, but for some reason I just cannot actually sketch digitally.

im the same with them tablet devices. i just cat seem to get the hang of it - perhaps if i got a DECENT one...
ive had more success drawing digitall with a bloody mouse...

and - i make SO MANY mistakes in my artwork. you just cant tell. mostly because my art isnt at all "real" looking. so if i **** something up (say i over draw an ink line) i just go and use that mistake for the next step of whatever im doing.

you on the other hand draw more realistic images (to which i envy you). so if someone was to have a line sticking out of their eyeball you would notice. thats because your works actually look like something.

in short because my art looks so dodgy, you cant tell where the mistakes are. this is both a blessin and a curse.



and i was told by franklin hotel that i could pick up door next wed. so i loaded my ute with some windows and doors for tomorrow, only to get a call saying my door is ready to pick up. ill have to do it tomorrow. which means i can begin on the weekend!
