Sure. There used to be a time before Steam where people had to save up for games, instead of buying 50 games for $2 each.

Sure. There used to be a time where not everyone had ADHD and actually finished the games they bought.

I don't, never paid enough attention to anything to anything to *ARGH ADHD LOOP*

No but seriously, the first game I ever finished was Kirby's dreamland on the gameboy and the sense of satisfaction was immense. I think Super Marioland 2 was after than (gameboy) and then probably not until years later when I finally finished Ocarina of Time on the 64 did I properly complete a game.

Now that I think about it, even now with all the games I have, the insane money I've spent on hardware etc, I haven't actually finished a game in a long time... Bit depressing really :/

First game I ever finished was Alex Kidd on my Master System.

Sonic The Hedgehog on the Megadrive was the first game I ever finished. Oh the memories.

I got about 1/2 way through that stupid game and all of a sudden i was stuck on some particular level of some building crawling with guys, and robots, and cameras, and locked doors and absolutly no special robot power, low health, and no way to back track to buy more protein bars, or chicken dinners.

So I said "**** this" and haven't picked it up since.

Borderlands 2 (Playthrough 1.) as Commando, now to finish Playthrough 2, then onto the other classes. :)

Multiple paths, use them. If you can't win the fight, avoid it.

Friend of mine finished Deus EX: HR on the hardest difficulty, with no kills and not one alarm. You really can avoid each and every fight.

EDIT - Aside from the stupid boss fights, of course.

Did you have a 6-pack and cut lunch for the ending. I finished MGS4 really late one work night didn't expect to still be up at 1.30am to see the credits
