Oh mate, that is hilarious on so many levels. What is OH&S? I mean I'm sure we have an OH&S policy or something somewhere purely for legal reasons, but no-one here has ever seen it, we don't even do OH&S/Fire induction/training. This place is run by foreign owners like a sweatshop >.<

Then just accidentally misplace your monitor with your old one. You're missing out though, using OH&S against the company is (one of) the best form of gratification you can have at work.

We aren't allowed to move the equipment.. hell it wasn't so long ago that I had to use a CRT monitor - I'd even think about it IF it wouldn't be immediately noticable which it would since this half of the office all has these queer monitors.

To effect even a slight chance in this **** hole I'd have to go beyond the management and to some governing legal body for OH&S and it would be a collosal pain in the ****. But.. going to start looking for a new job in November once the wedding is over.

Yeah they've got them all set to this queer resolution due to that reason, once you set it to the other resolution the screen flickers as if there are lines running down the monitor horozontally from top to bottom - probably not a lot I can do about it as we don't have access to the control panel.

It's like they needed new monitors and these ones were probably on special hah.

Honestly, although the job is easy (hence foruming from work), I have never worked for a more horrid company.

Press and hold control, scroll mouse wheel up/down. it changes the res in the browser ONLY and leaves the screen res at what ever it is set at. try it and see, it works wonders

I've got to make it so small that it's compltely unusuable before that banner goes away, no joy I'm afraid.. I usually browse of a USB drive that I put in, but this computer doesn't have USB ports It's incredibly slow.. receive email, click open, wait 20-30 seconds to open, then wait 10-15 seconds for text to load.

I spent a lot of time on calls just.. waiting for it to catch up.

Weekend just gone was prob the most k's i've clocked up in my r33 did a total of 610km drove up to Shepparton then of course on the way home we had to go visit people in bendigo, heathcote.

Good drive but not so great with coilovers on some of those roads
