my babyface is back off to the vet for a checkup.. good that shes stopped coughing. stupid bronchitis.

Yeah. She is terrifically old. Nearly 18 I think, so it isn't too big of a surprise. She has a tumor around her belly. She seems to be coping fine though so idk, might be longer.

Hope your kitty gets better soon.

I'm not the biggest fan of cats, but I understand what it's like to loose a pet that's been with you for so long. My dog got to the point where he was blind and limping for no apparent reason, eventually just collapsed and yelped in the backyard. He seemed to have a tumor as well, but his was in the sinus (probably what caused his blindness). Sent my sister and mother inside and me and my dad put him down. Was the hardest thing I've even done. It hurts, but you move on. I wish you the best.

Sorry to hear about your kitty Matty. I know what it's like (replacing cat with dog), my dog meant the absolute world to me, he was my friend and guardian. Although it's been just over 2 years and I have emotional issues, I make sure to keep the memories in my mind and heart, and I keep his collar on my Desk in memory.

We've had a few cats... all RSPCA rescues - older rather than kittens - so I suppose we set ourselves up for losing them.

One was more of a presence than the others - he received special treatment - buried in the back yard with a tree planted on top.

Only time a dog(wood) ever got the better of him.

Mr Mogg's collar is on a statue - he was as tough as cement... (He was always Mr. Mogg - never Mogg - he demanded too much respect for that sort of familiarity)

my kittyfaced baby is coughing again.. she still has 8 days left on her current drugs.. vet checkup said it sounds like it's now on both lungs instead of just the left. will need xrays and whatnot in the following weeks. /sigh
