cool, I bought TA last week (roughly, I think? :P ) and it was so worth it.

I remember playing a lot of TA:Kingdoms but not actually liking it that much lol. It was a nice change of scenery I guess but nowhere near as good as robot death.

I read either on the UberEnt forums or reddit that the game is going to be really extensible, so it should be possible for people to create their own custom planets after release.

I was hoping for something a little different for the hidden stretch goals other than more planet types. Without knowing a lot more about what they're doing it's hard to say what else they could have included for goals though.

Here's a site which predicts the final goal trend. If you (click the image and) go to the site you will see if things keep going as they are it will get to about 1.8m... but could go as low as 1.6m, or as high as 2.3m

All of the more popular Kickstarter projects I've followed have had a global warming style "hockey stick" upward trend in the last few days they've been open. I don't give that graph with only a gradual upward trend all the way to the end much credence.

any prediction is just a guess. The late dash makes sense though, I'm waiting til the last couple of days to see if its worth trying to push it over the edge of the next stretch-goal if its close :P

Given it was slowing down towards the $900,000 amount then suddenly sped up again I suspect some people were waiting to see if they reached their goal before pledging. I suspect many don't realise they don't get charged if the primary goal isn't reached.

I was kindof hoping they'd do a single player campaign, but hopefully some enterprising modder will make a good one post release.

I imagine we'll get a remake of the TA campaigns very rapidly after release, and within time new campaigns making use of all the new features.

you could make one epic mission featuring all the planets you travel to across the span of the original campaigns...
