Cas, what is your world density set to? It does seem bizarrely empty on those HK streets!

The game looks amazing!

What kind of specs are needed to max it out? Looking at it, I'd say I may not quite be able to.
It is worth playing without a controller? Although, I'm pretty sure I'm going to pick it up regardless.

Graphics card wise, I think most people with a Nvidia 570 or higher should be able to run it with pretty much everything at max. As I said in the OP, SSAO at the highest setting absolutely destroys performance....but it looks fantastic.

Can't say I've really played it without the controller, sorry! :) But I wouldn't let that phase you if you are already comfortable playing third person games with a kb+m :)

I saw on the "Recommended" requirements they've got a GTX 560, which is what I have, slightly over-clocked.
I am quite comfortable with M/K, I play SR3, JC2, GTAIV all with M/K quite competently, only games I've not use M/K are racing games, and flight sim. Although my Xbox controller likes to BSOD my computer, so I doubt I'll be using that.
This game is on my list. :D

I absolutely love this game when it rains, it looks amazing. I also just realised I didn't have everything on high. /fail

I reckon GTA4 still has better rain. Rain storms in GTA4 were truly epic from memory.

This is the rain I meant, especially on the streets. Just looks awesome. It looks even better in motion.

That rain looks a lot better actually. Who knows, maybe in motion it could rival or beat GTA4's rain.

It far exceeds GTA4's rain.

Cas's streets are empty because all the residents are hiding due to his kung-fu.

So im playing Sleeping Dogs with a cat sleeping on my lap... >_>

Anyone had trouble getting the HD texture pack to work ? I've downloaded it and ran the game, verified, restarted steam and it still won't me enable it, it just goes back to normal.

Nice! What method did you use to get your face to lvl 10? Or was this after you finished the story.

I'm about 50% through :)
