Is it just me or have Blizz actually listened to us gamers?

Listened and started implementing the necessary changes. There's a fair few more changes I want to see done.

I was hoping that they'd also drop the cost of extra tabs in the stash as well. An extra tab really isn't the most satisfying thing to spend 200k gold on... not to mention having to spend more in order to buy up an extra two rows on each tab. Now had it been 100k gold to buy that third and last tab given all the rows and a 4th tab in the stash, yeah, maybe I'd consider it. I could do with 4 tabs in the stash:
- one for rings, amulets and miscellaneous
- one for crafting stuff and gems
- one for items I want to keep
- one for items I want to sell

Really? I managed to buy my complete stash before i hit my first 60. I think there's heaps of space. It big enough that you can basically keep everything, but still makes you think what you REALLY need and don't. Rings and Amulets don't take up much space, you can combine that in the keep or sell really. Crafting mats and gems are only one slot each, only need to keep the flawless gems, not worth crafting from the lower level gems up to flawless or higher I have 400~ blue essence and ~200 yellow essence from inferno, still have heaps of space in my stash.

But then again, I like to keep my stash super clean, was the same in wow, if I can't use it or wont use it, I sell it or vendor it/salvage it if it wont sell.

My stash (when i still play that is) was full of merchandise to sell on the auction house...

Full tabs, and it couldn't hold all of them... had to resort to splitting them with multiple auction sell.

Sure wouldn't mind more tabs even if i have to pay a million or more for it... wait, that's kinda too late, i guess i don't need it anymore.

That's probably where the problem lies... while I haven't hit my first 60, I have one of each class between lvl 36 and lvl 40. There's also a lot of stuff I've picked up for cheap on the AH that I can't use for another 8 levels for some characters.

OK, I suppose i should dump the 9 Leoric's Shinbones in my stash as well, esp since I have the Staff of Herding.

I currently have 3 mules... one for items I intend to sell, one for gems and crafting material, and one for rings and stuff to give my followers... I can probably get rid of that last one if I spend some time dumping the right stuff on my followers and selling the excess.

Well there's your problem, lol.

I'd understand if it was just one extra for god knows what, but 9? :P

Lets just say I take great amusement with seeing Leoric with 9 shinbones. Heaven (or Hell) knows how he's able to stand when you go fight him. OK, maybe as Chief Wiggum once put it: "Skeleton Power".

But, IMHO, I still shouldn't need to make mules to store my stuff.

Eh, I don't know, if you're hoarding stuff like that you're kind of on your own, People made alot of mules in Diablo 2, I don't see the big deal.

People have been using mules since time immemorial. I use them because I'm too cheap to buy stash upgrades.

Pretty much nailed it Marius. No point complaining about the cost of stash space if you're not taking advantage of mules.

But that's my point exactly.

Whilst many people have been making mules since whenever, it would be nice if the game was designed to give us more space in the stash from the start so we didn't need to make any mules in order to avoid the cost for extra stash space.

We wouldn't have to spend time going in and out of the game to pass items between characters for storage. We should be able to just dump all those items into the stash to store them there and the game shouldn't have to restrict those of us who want to store:

- items we want to keep to use later,
- items we wish to sell on the AH,
- gems (we should be able to store more than 30 gems in one stack anyway),
- an assortment of dyes (I have about 12 different dyes and looks to acquire more),
- health potions,
- a range of amulets/rings, and
- crafting material (this can probably be solved by not restricting us to only 100 units in one stack).

If the stash had, say, 5 or 6 tabs (and the GUI looks like it could accommodate that many), I'd dare say that most of us will probably have second thoughts about making a mule and instead solely store stuff in our stash.

It would be a more user friendly way of storing things compared to using mules.

OK, I decided to clean out one of my mules and transfer all those Leoric's shinbones and stuff like the pages from the Blackrock Ledger to the mule. Also put a whole bunch of stuff into the AH's 50 item storage thingo (i.e. add an item to sell and then cancel but not put the items back into the stash). Freed up a whole tab in my stash. I'm all set for those new Legendary items now - lol

:>!

they could have probably named this patch 1.1 and no one would have complained about the lack of content.

this is definitely shaping up to be one killer patch.

hopefully the MF changes are released sometime today, and then the patch later tonight.

I'm liking those AH updates. It'll be good to be able know what the hell I've just sold, rather than just the name.

Didn't see functionality to sort or filter the 'Completed' tab. Would have been nice to be able to see all the items I've sold so I can work out what sort of gear has been selling.
