if u have sixshooter running will that cause issues using dayz commander?

you know how hard it is to patch the mod?

click here http://uk1.dayz.nu/latest/ (or any of the mirrors)

click on the dayZ 1.7.2.5.rar

download it

unpack it into the dayz / addons folder

(mebbe overwrite the old ones)

how hard is that?

relying on some automated POS is where the problems are

also , those that get stuck on loading. can you hit escape and get back out? or has the game frozen? if its frozen its cos one or more of the files is bad /wrong redownload the whole pack and try again. if you can escape back to the browser then yeah its prolly just hive / server needs a restart to kick hive in the guts

I'm not entirely sure as I stopped using other launchers once I started with dayz commander, but I would presume if the launchers were trying to run different versions of arma/dayz and you were switching between them there may be issues.

As Admins of this new server, of coarse we invite all our fellow DayZ players to join us. We will do our up most to make the players feel happy and safe on this server by checking our logs for illegal activity and banning or reporting hackers as we see fit.
As Diablo's Pet said, we should be implementing a way for our server users to get in contact with us regarding any hacking or harassment on the server.

You can help us with this by taking screen shots of GUID's and also any events that are taking place, we are intending on running name plates for this reason just to try and deter people from acting up.

We are all looking forward to getting the server up and going so till then, take care.

Co-Admin to this. Does that sort out your issue?

Probably should have made that a bit clearer before coming in a page later with input, sorry about that..

So the campsite I thought I had lost mysteriously spawned back in today. Unfortunately for me I was standing where the bus had been parked and so I logged into it, instantly killing myself. This is what I found upon returning to camp. (Pictures from my friend, who logged in to see what had happened).

Other than blatant advertising, there's no issue to be had.

Still trying to find this so called advertising but that's fine. We are simply informing you of what we have and how we intend to run it.

I used to manually install as well until someone mentioned the "hide unresponsive" feature to me, probably 40% of servers for me will just sit on loading and lock up and then the only way out is to nuke it in task manager and restart the game. It's nothing to do with files not being downloaded correctly, most servers just turn to **** if they haven't been restarted for a while. Using Commander and the unresponsive feature totally eliminated that problem for me and IMMENSELY improved my game experience.

Psst, that's exactly what advertising is.

It's generally considered bad form to advertise your service (in this case a DayZ server) on a provider's forum of the same service.
You don't see KFC staff wandering into McDonald's inviting everyone over.
