Lost my job. long story short, the till somehow ended up $300 out on my close shift, I accepted the blame since I AM the close shift and I have to ensure its all there. Got let go and the other young bloke will probably be let go soon also, since Wollies is building a liqourland nereby and prob kill business. So now I'm looking for new work until I move to Brisbane first week of Jan. (and a name change, when I move I want a FRESH start to my failed career/life as an adult.)

Bummer dude. Part of the reason I hate working with cash. But then when you roll big stock and it goes missing its more than just a headache...

How old are you dude? Unless you're 75 or something I think its a bit premature to look back and consider your adult life or career has failed.

Almost 22, It's not that I've failed my entire adult career, its that the past 4 years I should have been secured into a real job, but I havent and haven't got anything to show for it, of which 2.5years of it I spent looking for work. It's a bit of a self-reflection thing...

Bleh, you're still young and you still have a whole life ahead of you. I didn't start my first real (& only) job till I was 23 and I've had a few friends who didn't start their real jobs until their mid-late 20's. Use this as motivation to advance yourself but don't beat yourself down over it. From your post it didn't sound like you did tertiary studies or training?

No one's handed in my wallet at work, needless to say I've never been so stressed in my life. There was no money in it, just my debit card, licence, Medicare card, building swipe card, room key etc etc, basically everything a 19 year old needs to function in life.
What a fantastic time to lose my wallet when I'm going overseas in four days...

I'm the sort of person that doesn't go anywhere without my wallet. If I'm just going down the hallway to my roommates room or even the bathroom I'll take it with me, so to lose it is quite stressful.

And Onlive is filling for bankruptcy (or something similar). Guess cloud gaming isn't the future.

The Humble Bundle stats are quite interesting. I wonder why Linux users feel obligated to pay more for the bundle?

linux is built on generosity and community, why else do you think you'd be given an entire operating system on a platter for free?

In saying that, you'd think Mac users would be have the highest average price since they're so accustomed to overpaying for things. ;)
