Uncharted 2 has started to get better since I got to Nepal.

New Katarina in LoL is epic imo.

Well i've picked up Darksiders 2 and Sleeping Dogs on PC this week, enjoying them both Have only done a few hours of each, Darksiders 2 is not the best title on PC, graphics are lacking tbh and have seen some funky stuff with the UI, not scaling to HD nicely.. but i can overlook it, absolutely loved the original and this is no exception, has more of an RPG feel this time though with the improved item vendors and inventory among other things. Really liking it so far anyway.

Sleeping Dogs is awesome too, just started it, but right from the start i got into it, love the characters and story already. Gonna sneak in another hour before bed i reckon.

Also i've been (very) slowly hacking away at some of my DS games.. finished Golden Sun: Dark Dawn last night, was really good but nowhere as good as the others (i'm a huge fan of the first two). Going to play through Dragon Quest 4/5/6 next, which will take me forever haha. I never played these back in the day so i am keen, i heard DQ5 is one of the best.

I was going to bring in a stack of games to trade-in for Sleeping Dogs but was distracted by baby stuff. Very sad I don't have it to play across the weekend.

Ah well, more Dark Souls for me then! Still in NG+, smashed Queelag, smashed Ormstein and Smough and am currently levelling up a few weapons to ensure I can take Sif out. Getting a little confused with all the weapon achievements (particularly Knight's Honour), need to spend a bit more time reading and cross-checking that I'm doing everything right... the 'get all pyro/sorcery' cheevos are also quite hard as they require more than just beating things up.

Really looking forward to the PC version, I'm going with a STR build so I can tank.

Smashing through heart gold on the gf's 3ds also gave kid icarus a spin, which was kinda delightful. Only issue with the 3ds is its small for my hands so cramps abound after a good hour or too, hoping the 3dsxl might fit my mitts....

Damn it's fun replaying pokemans, gf enjoyed white.

Also been spending some more time in minecraft and swtor as backgrounds for study...

so, i'm like a year late to the party, but how the **** do i play nba 2k12? i don't really 'get' it yet i think. i keep trying to go up to the hoop to do layups and they get blocked, i can't defend for ****, and my teammates (in the solo career mode) don't call plays or anything, they just look at me really daft from bad spots. and shooting doesn't work.

also i get the error where i can't continue the save for my career, it just crashes my xbox.

To continue your game, hit B at the main menu and choose your game mode and save file from there.

It is a tough game, highly recommend you revisit tutorials. I play a point guard so tend to call for screens a lot (hold LB), but use tap-RB then select a player and use right stick to get them moving, also hold LT to do spin moves and fast breaks.

If you see me on, let's have a game. No cheap moves though!

More Uncharted 2, just bumped into the chick from the first game! Inb4 the cameraman dies.

Started Homefront. It's...a game so far. Satisfying shooting (nice and responsive compared to Uncharted 2) but not far enough yet to really say anything else. Powerful imagery at the beginning though I still find the whole scenario a bit unrealistic.

nba2k12 is great fun (i have xbobx cntroller and playing it on pc). over 100 hours played now.
last night went into overtime, and my team won by six points. my dude got player of the match - though we are bottom of the ladder this season (season 2 so far)

Finally got around to playing Modern Warfare 1 & 2 as well as Medal of Honor (thank you Steam sales) .. didn't mind them, all in all.

Sleeping Dogs is waiting on my system, looking forward to that.

Been enjoying WoW again, back with my old guild I used to run (heh my partner runs it these days) and .. yeah, the game is fun again (now that I've focused on a healer, which I've never done before) but it's the working/playing with friends in guild that's the big thing for me.

Nah Arma 2, not dayz! Mainly multi coop with a handful of guys, great fun when you have people to work with.

Wow, Four Kings on NG+ is one hell of a brick wall. 15 deaths so far and on only one of those did I get a player summons, no-one seems to want to co-op this.

The summons was the best battle, actually downed the second king. I was having to quaff potions like mad because these TWO other phantoms were just free for alling the newly spawned kings... why wouldn't you focus on the host's king?

Deep breaths.


Forza 4 is as sexy as I remember it, absolutely love the Porches in the new DLC, so much fun to drive.
