I remember the premise for TA, and it was interesting. One side believed in cloning and the other believed in downloading human consciousness into machines, both sides thought the other was an abomination. Pretty sure the campaign story was very thin on the ground though.

Pledged $15, although I may bump it up to $40.

Still pondering...

The massive map with metal islands was the best.

EDIT: think I liked the metal maze one best

Man, now we have to wait for this game to hopefully get funded, then get made.

Wonder if I still have my TA CD's around to give that a bash

If you want to play TA, I'd go TA spring.
The old TA, as awesome as it was, is just too dated now.

It works like a **** treat though. Win7 64bit no dramas (front menu goes a bit spastic but game itself is fine). ****, it even supports widescreen resolutions. Take THAT, Dark Souls PC

Yay! More TA style games! $20

I hope it's more like TA / Sup Com rather than Sup Com 2.

I watched it again, not sure how I'll like the extremely curved surfaces.

Oh and they announced Linux support too.

Loved TA back in the day, played it religiously! This looks interesting but I dunno just yet. Hmmm. Narrator's voice is the same which is epic, realised it right away soon as the trailer started :)

the video is just an "artists impression" if that to demonstrate their ideas. All we can really take away from it is that we're going to be blowing planets up.

also, I said I just bought TA and I played it for like 4 hours today. I DIDN'T HAVE ALL THESE NEW UNITS WHEN I WAS A KID...
