If I drink coffee, it's usually only ever at a cafe. I drink tea at home. My favourite is peppermint tea. :)

I don't drink coffee in the morning or at home either, only at a cafe if I end up going to one.

Tea is meant to help you live longer. :)

I drink 2 of these a day. It works out to be about 50c per cup.

I get hard over south american coffee, ethiopian is a particular fave, few indian coffees (monsoon malabar is just 'funk in a cup' it shouldn't even be called coffee),

in-built Miele coffee machine (because I used to work for them) tweaked a little for better grind, better brew time - valiantly grants me frappuccinos too. (myself and my brother downed some 4L of frappuccino last weekend. I heart.)

At one point I had some 100Kg of unroasted coffee at my place - it's so much cheaper than buying any other coffee too.

nespresso capsule, $1-2 each?, I pay $5-7 per Kilo of coffee that makes nespresso taste like dishwater (that's I lie, I actually love nespresso caps & the nespresso machines are perfect for people that might only have one cup per day, the machines are bullet proof)

so yeah - I freakin love my coffee. Once I started roasting, I'll never buy pre-roasted again. I still buy coffee every morning before work but it's just not the same

This man knows what he's talking about regarding coffee, I don't think anyone else so far does...

Quite interesting to hear; I always presumed coffee snobs would hate on the Nespresso machines. I personally love the hell out of them. Great coffee and zero fuss to clean

We've finally ordered a descaling kit for our Nespresso machine, it was amazing then went bad so this should fix it. I love it, it's easy, quick, and makes pretty good coffee. I don't use the milk thing though, I just pour in some milk and then microwave it to heat it up and it works for me.

I only have one or two cups a day at most, so the nespresso pods are fine for me :D

+1 to the Nespresso, bought my wife one for her birthday.

No more stuffing around grinding/brewing coffee straight after crawling out of bed, easy as piss. Win.

I'm looking forward to getting ours running again, we've been lazy and it's been sitting for a few months while we took our sweet time ordering a cleaning kit.

Cannot wait.

Oh yeah, for sure - if you like coffee and drink a lot of it - nespresso is just too expensive. It really is. When you can get better coffee at 5-15$/kilo?! I'd never get a nespresso machine for myself.

That said, and I've said before, the machines are nigh-on bullett-proof. Do the descale when it's due and it's CHEAP (for the machine) and if you're only having one coffee a day, the capsules are fresher than roasting 500g at a time, obviously.

Full-auto machines are just too **** to keep clean. Semi-auto (where you do your own milk) is for me, perfect.

Anyone who loves coffee, but drinks instant - I really do suggest even getting a $10 plunger, and ordering a grinder and some pre-roasted beans from somewhere like 'www.coffeesnobs.com.au', and trialling some real coffee. The tastes are SO much more interesting and different to what you can get in a cafe,,

Where's the option for both? I love both my tea and my coffee :)

I'm personally trying to limit the amount of caffeine I consume a day and it's usually down to just 1 cup a day now.

I used to work as a barista in my younger days, so became a bit of a snob when people were too lazy to clean the handle properly before the next cup was poured through!

For taste and ease, nespresso is RIGHT up there for sure. I'd love to spend the money for a proper coffee machine at home but then I'd be bouncing off the walls ALL the time :B

Normally - I make (real) coffee in the morning for myself and the missus
She has a Nespresso at work
A couple of colleagues and I have one from a coffeeshop - (We walk past three others to get to this one)

There may be tea later in the day or in the evening - Irish Breakfast, Peppermint, Christmas Tea (a mix with added fruit and spices - seriously reminiscent of Christmas cake) Russian Caravan (which tastes as though the caravan was on fire and the only thing that could be rescued was the still smoking tea) and lately Australian Afternoon which tastes like it was made in a billy over an open fire.

Since my op I'm pretty much off my feet and get my one coffee a day in bed - my wife and I are both looking forward to ME making the coffee again...
