Bring back Civil War edition whoop!

As for upload time, no where does it state a timeframe for admin response. Hydra works as a server admin for ALL the gon servers and is not here at your beck and whim. The mission will be uploaded when they, not you, are ready.

I hope it is just workload preventing this and not an /ignore radioman ... the new version fixes a bunch of problems... would like to see it uploaded eventually.

I posted in the wrong thread (didn't mean to post in the CORE thread).

RPG18, PG7V, PG7VR, PG7VL, Metis, Strela
300, 208, 510, 320, 800, 100

M136, MAAWS HEDP, MAAAWS HEAT, NLAW, Jav, Stinger
335, 190, 480, 550, 670, 125

RPG18/M136 = $50 / $85
RPG7/MAAWS = $90 / $350
Metis/Javelin/NLAW = $350 / $450 / $500

I consider the above AT prices game breaking. You need to fix them and get 0.4v uploaded ASAP to replace it. Spending $400 at the start just to disable/destroy Resistance tanks is a lot. Most of the time you won't earn a bounty with 1 shot. OPFOR will also quickly pick up RPG7's from dead Resistance and be fine. BLUFOR will suffer all the way until Gear 2. I'm not sure you realize how big a difference that is.

Noticed satchels at Gear 2 for $250. Nice ;)

Hardy game breaking, just take the small towns first.

Cute thread though really, the changes in gear/unit pricing makes jack **** difference to the outcome of games, balancing the tech trees might make a small impact but if you want more balanced games assign players to a random side when they join the server. Or come up with some other way to force experienced players to play against each other.

Blufor have to take small towns first. Opfor can take any town and scavenge RPG7s and PGVRs from back of BMP2s.

Blufor already had light AT disadvantage, now it's 3x as bad.

When they get to G2 they spend $1600 for two NLAWs and not even make a profit killing T55s.

And with satchels now costing $250 a pop and only available at gear 2 you've pretty much removed any chance of getting bounties from killing tanks with the increased price of AT4. At almost $500 dollars a shot you're looking at actually losing money to kill a tank.

Yep. Think of the respawn penalty for a $90 RPG7 compared to $350 MAAWS or $500 NLAW. Even the ammo is cheaper for OPFOR.

BLUFOR have pretty **** anti-tank capabilities for the LF, and require HF2 before they get M1A1s. The M2A2/M2A3 aren't very good AT either. Despite the TOW on the M2A3 they are still IFVs with slow ROF and piss weak armour. I choose a Shilka over them any day.

So for first hour BLUFOR will be running around with a single shot M136 AT4 that costs them $420 each (mobile) respawn! (I saw default param is Full Price on Mobile Respawn).

$420 = 1x M136 AT4 (Gear 0)
$1600 = 2x NLAWS (Gear 2)
$2150 = 3x NLAWS (Gear 2)
$1790 = 3x MAAWS HEAT (Gear 2)

$350 = 1x RPG18 (Gear 0)
$922 = 4x PG7V (Gear 1)
$1620 = 3x PGVR (Gear 2)
$1370 = 4x PGV7L (Gear 2)

Don't underestimate the huge difference it makes with how easy it is to salvage and save the PGVRs and PGVLs in the first Resistance town you take. It basically means OPFOR jump straight to Gear 2.

Can't radioman just change what resistance get in terms of AT so we can't pick it up ect. At the start of a round the RPG18/AT4 is more than enough to deal with tanks if you hit them in the tracks, don't want to blow them up early game anyway.

Maybe i'd change the AT4's price to that of the RPG18?

I wouldn't call the Blufor LF AT capabilities **** considering the Stryker TOW.

That alone will fix the game.

You can squabble over gear/vehicle prices all day and get absolutely nowhere and never please everybody.

The AT4 does more damage than the 18, it's about a 20% difference. Not being able to save gear you don't have the tech for would be a much better solution...

As bad as blufor's AT tends to be, OPFORs is worse. They don't even have a guided AT vehicle at all. And shilkas have the same speed and armour issues as bradleys, but without the huge AT missile range. It's silly to take a shilka over one

lets not forget the higher TK ratios at the start of a match. Blufor will be Poorfor within 30min of a match starting.

Funny how people start talking about the patch notes AFTER it's been uploaded to the server. It's taken a week + to get it up and NOW you start piping up.

I'll be fixing the "getting gear outside of your gear level" in a future version. The SMAW HEDP isn't bad, and it's cheaper than the RPG7V.
