Unban - Reqest

Hi all,

Im fairly new to these forums so first off hello

Ill get straight to it though

I recently bought Arma 2 (I know im a bit late) and I was playing in your games.on.net Warfare server (32 slot) and bassicly as soon as i joined I started getting shot at (by a team mate) I then proceed to shoot him back (thinkin it was an enemy (remember im new)) But it was a team mate. I apologized but asked why he shot me I got no reply, was playing around with the WF Buy menu then Boom. I got banned. Now I normally wouldnt say anything but I litrally did nothin wrong except defend myself from a team killer. And its been over 2 weeks now and im still banned. I believe a random was an admin too. So he might not have known what to do properly.

Can I just asked I get unbanned? This will never happen again and im really devo'd as I love warfare and you guys have the only Australian server up.

Hi and welcome. Yes there are avenues for resolving a ban, I thought there was a way to submit an appeal from the forums, but couldn't locate it for you. I recommend contacting Ball0 for the right procedure. If it was for a TK, 2weeks seems a bit harsh.

- Edit - just perused the rules, 2 weeks is standard for a TK.

Most players are forgiving for newcomers, however, before unleashing a full clip into a friendly just know any such action will be dealt with immediately by the active admin and get you booted fom the server, your guid submitted to the GoN admins and the rest is history. Read the recent forum posts so you know where you stand and what is expected in terms of appropriate gameplay on a GoN warfare server. Good luck.

Choose ban appeal and fill it out best you can. And yeah PMing ball0 is a good. IRC is the best way to get hold of admins but the easy way to use that isn't working at the moment.

And hmm sounds like your admin had a bad day. Temporary voted admins can't ban though... so you must have just been kicked and reported straight after.
