Line up got released. Thankfully there aren't enough bands on it this year that makes me want to dump a weeks paycheck into a single day festival! I'm sure a bunch of you fellas will be excited though.

I will be honest, I frothed a bit and for once, like this lineup a lot more than BDO.

My rant to a mate regarding the headliners -

Hidden: show

Last Metallica album I really actually enjoyed was released 2 years before I was born. Been pretty average since apart from a couple of songs here and there off load/reload. Linkin Park are just an absolutely terrible excuse for music imo. I'd say they were sellouts but I think they've been commercial since they first wrote a song. As for Blink, they were great. The keyword is 'were'. I feel like they're back together to try and milk the money-cow a little more so they can keep living like kings.

But A Perfect Circle is 1 of my favourite bands of all time, so I am ridiculously excited about them. Offspring, apart from their last couple of albums, are great. Were awesome at SW 08. I've heard Stonesour are bad live, anyone here seen them?
Only other band I'm really pumped to see is Of Mice and Men, but would probably check out Miss May I, Memphis May Fire, Woe is Me and Periphery.

Still on the fence, might just go APC sideshow tbh.

Yeah I'd be mainly going for Anthrax and Tomahawk tbh. Metallica were a bit underwhelming on the recent "The big 4 live" bluray.

This lineup seems so much more BDO than Soundwave (not a huge metal focus). Don't get me wrong, i will still go (for the 90's nostalgia lol), but it's just weird how BDO lineups are so **** now and Soundwaves are better.

Quite dissappointing since last years epic line up. I love Metallica but that is the only band that interests me so far. I have seen them & happy that I have. This list needs more metal! Interesting to see how much the price increase is with Metallica headlining. Looks like I'll be passing this one.

It's got nothing on 2012 lineup imo, but still a few bands i wouldn't mind seeing. i'd probably go for Metallica, A Perfect Circle, Stone Sour, Anthrax, Periphery, Offspring. Hoping they add more metal bands in another announcment.

Fear Factory are awesome live. I saw them in their 1993 (I think?) Fear is the Mindkiller tour and managed to hit my head on the ground stagediving

Haha that's fantastic I have seen them twice before but it's been 5 years since the last time & I travelled to Melbourne for that show. They are one of my favorite bands, so stoked!
