Why not?


Because ACR is an optional patch, so it'd be like a mandatory mod, which I don't like the idea of.

I read that it's the islands that make it a large download.

Those **** islands.

Therefore, the islands should have been optional, and the units just included in the patch (lite versions). That makes sense to me at least.

I agree, keep the ACR stuff out of Warfare so long as it remains an optional download (that most people won't have installed for a while, as they have no way of knowing about it unless they frequent ARMA2 sites/forums)

Radioman, can you please look at implementing the near gear menu system from .072 if youre not going to be editing that version for whatever reasons.

I've spoken to Benny, he said he'll be making a 1v1 version of 2.073. So when that comes out, we'll use that, as all the issues in 2.072 are slated to be fixed / have been fixed by then.

Quick status report on what's going on with CORE:

After making ACR support, then finding out we're not going to get ACR anymore kind of threw a spanner into the works, so currently I'm just doing a few spot-welds in the mission, namely Metis pricing and exploit fixes.

I've fixed FAB250s and MK82s not being affected by missile range, Occupation with thermal weapons have been replaced with non-thermal team leaders, and a few other things.

Played two games last night on Cherno with .2

Bugged slots, both times. Possibly related to the mission changes, or caused by something else? It looked like problems with JIP scripts.

I've not touched those scripts. It'd happen every time if they were broken. I'd blame the server.

Happens just as often as BE Vanilla... Severe lag/people disconnecting on initial load-up/disabling AI in lobby/People timing out are the causes of the problem...

Dude relax. I had to wait too when I was making Warfare XE for GoN. Be patient! Ask Baskervillie if he can host a match of it if you want to do some live testing.

Not wanting to do live testing, as I've already done that.

CORE 0.0, 0.1 and 0.2 were hosted on the day of completion (and after testing), so this version is taking much much more time than usual.
