Ori, we also have a hatchback, however it was out of the garage and became a bit banged up due to some zombie related incidents (eg Toybox ran over too many zombies in it). It should be back there now, so I think we are going to have the entire server's spawned vehicles in our garage soon :D.

We lost the ATV due to me and Toybox being in it when the server reset (without warning) :(

I think it glitched out...

Remember where you were when it disappeared, (or will check with Ori and get him to check where he found it initially) hopefully it will come back.

It will be at the last location you saved it, vehicles don't get saved to the hive at all just written to the specific server when you select the save option.

A friend of mine had a pretty cool event today, I've copied this to the forums of the server because I'm actually in that clan (sorta, haven't played with them yet.) and it's also on the DayZ forums, ignore the fact that it's a ban appeal and it's a pretty sweet story! If only he used Fraps.

US360 - Teleported to Coast and then Banned

I was just playing on US360, I worked my way into the NWAF when I came up against a clan of players and all hell broke lose!
I thought it was all a bit of fun, but the Admins there saw fit to exploit their status, angry that I had won the battle... I've enjoyed this server immensely as the clan there has heavily fortified the area with Tank Traps and Barbed Wire, it makes sneaking in to steal loot from under their noses all the more fun, I had only encountered one player before this... who ALT-F4'd and led me to consider myself an enemy of this clan.

The events...
I saw another player coming out of the Southern Barracks, I called out friendly but there was no response... so I opened fire, we had a bit of a firefight changing position just the once. During this fight he did start talking over comms asking if I was someone else specific, all I said was "No"... It was too late, I considered the area to be a hostile environment from this point on. I put him down. (Playername: =DRN=Cyg0r3)

While trying to get to his body safely to loot, another player approached. I only saw him for a second through the bushes but opened fire in that direction and got another quick kill (Playername: Church)... I knew this must be a clan so I ran to that body, swapped packs without checking, assuming it was better than what I had... grabbed is NV and GPS and bolted out of the airfield with the sounds of a Chopper approaching. I'm not a complete douche, so I did not hide the body... the pack I left behind is full of meat with an M16 M203 with mags, I hope the clan recovers it.

The chopper with lights swept around and I thought I was well hidden under a large pine tree, it started to hover with the light right on me so I ran again... I stopped in a bush for a moment and opened my new pack, to my delight there was an M107... I pulled it out and loaded it up and then started yelling over comms; "Back off Helo or I will shoot! Friendly! Friendly! Go away, I just want to LIVE!"
I don't know if Helo's can hear players on the ground, but it was only 110m away. I stepped out into the open and hip fired the M107 at the helo, expecting it to back away... it did not, so I scoped up and fired 3 shots into the pilot area of the helo, it crashed and I got the kill credit... I started running out away through the treeline towards the barn between the Airfield and Vybor stopping to quickly fill and drink a water bottle as I was flashing thirsty. Moments later I was teleported to the coast but without any buildings, like the Debug area, I Alt-F4'd immediately... and then logged back in on another server, I was still at the coast but the rest was normal and I had my gear. I ran myself up into the trees to a safer position and then Disconnected.

I let myself calm down a little and messaged a friend about the awesome adventure I had just had... I try to log back into that server but just as I load in it says "BattleEye: Banned"

I did nothing against the rules, Admins can't just teleport players around and ban them from their servers because they don't like the way the game has played out, that's the whole point! There is another post on these forums about the US360 admins teleporting things around because they lost a fight. http://dayzmod.com/f...page__hl__us360
I understand that people playing as a group have to delay their engagements to confirm it's not a friend... as a solo player inside the enemy perimeter I use that to my advantage. I tried to befriend the resident clan on 2 separate occasions... once I got bullets and an Alt-F4 as the response, the second time the response was not quick enough, so I opened fire first... It's too late to ask for peace when you're now at the disadvantage.
This character started on this server, geared up in a hectic night of Elektro and then worked all the way north of the NWAF... swept through it to gear up one day and returned to camp, then got into position for another run from the south today... no server hopping involved, and I have to say it was quite exciting and terrifying to know that this organised clan may find me with a patrol or overwatch sniper at any moment!
I would have preferred to befriend a group playing as organised as this, I'd loved to have taken a ride in that chopper... instead I got 3 kills, an awesome experience and a server ban.
It's a clan server, let me log back on and hunt me down like men! Don't teleport me around and ban me so you don't have to deal with any opposition.

I'm enjoying this server specifically and am even willing to return my ill-gotten goods in exchange for peace and a spot in the clan... Look forward to hearing from you.

I'm not going to play on US360 again until this is sorted out myself because from this and the other thread and one on the clan pages as well, I don't want to deal with Admins abusing their power when they're upset. Back to games.on.net where that isn't an issue! (tic) :P

After not playing for a few weeks or so, I resumed playing with no gear tonight :( just outside of Starry Sobor. After much sneaking around with nothing but empty cans to help me, I came across an unzombified military camp which gave me the foothold I needed... Czech backpack, M9SD, a selection of AK74s, painkillers, binocs etc. A quick trip to the supermarket had me stocked up with food and so on, and then not far to the north in the trees near a deerstand, heard some swarming flies and came across a body which completed my survival gear.

All kitted up, except for a basic AK74, I figured I might head towards the NW airfield to try and grab an NVG and maybe a better weapon. On the way there, detoured via a farm east of Kabiano, snuck inside and took out a zombie with my M9SD and was about to go check out what loot there was lying around, when there was suddenly a massive BANG, and I'm dead :(

No idea who it was, if it was someone camping inside the barn, or someone shooting my through the barn doors from the outside, but it was insta-death. Not even any unconsciousness or bleed-out, so I'm guessing it was a headshot :(.

After so much good luck, it all came to an end far too quickly. I hope someone decent gets my gear rather than some bloody bandit...

So suddenly, things exploded into the awesome loot territory, after finding a helicopter with NVG, and another with a ghillie suit, three of us stumbled upon a tent with 2 rangefinders, another set of NVG's, a bizon with 6 mags, and heaps of food. And then, after that, we jumped servers and found a fully functioning bus and a dumped ATV with loads of fuel tanks sitting in its inventory on a road while moving the bus somewhere to hide.

So now, we have three members with NVG, three with rangefinders, 2 L8A5 AWS, , 1 M107, 3 ghillie suits, 2 DMR's, and an outright menagerie of other horrible weapons of death. One guy has one of each those good items aside from NVG and the M107, and its his first life still - the lucky sod.

Just started playing again after a few days' break.

The initial fear is back... don't want to lose my M4A1 CCO SD....

That M4A1 CCO SD will get ya killed if you get attached to it :D

We found a friendly group of Americans and are helping them out now, total team size numbers 24 with my squad working with them! We were pretty kitted out too, had taken over Pustoshka for a base and had a fair few vehicles (V3S, Bus, 2x ATV, Motorbike, Bicycle, Pickup, Tractor, and a GAZ). Then yesterday someone thought ghosting into the shed with the vehicles would be a great idea and then let fly with tons of grenades. Plan worked, lost everything except the GAZ, V3S and the Bus.

We bailed out of Pustoshka and moved into the hills to the left, only to have another dude start raining down frags on it. I missed this fight but was involved in the extraction. We made a convoy and left heading out south through Cherno and Elektro, losing the GAZ on the way due to a glitch where it flipped trying to cross rail tracks.

Now we are safe again. Rebuilding what we lost has started and now that 2 knowledgeable Aussies are helping them, they are getting organised too ;)

Amazing how things can change over the course of a day or 2 in this game.

Started yesterday just running around solo, hunting crash sites whilst answering questions from new players and arranging to meet up with 2 other guys.

One of the guys I had arranged to meet up with had to bail, and the other died and respawned.
So I jumped on my ATV and done a run to Mogli to pick him up and booted back up to my tent to get him kitted.
So he done alright for his 1st day in DayZ, fully kitted with military weapons and GPS and so forth.

By the end of the session the group had grown to 7, we had enough weapons and ammo to fill multiple tents.
But as always it wasn't enough so a raid on NWAF was organised, it was a relatively smooth operation only getting attacked by 1 zombie hoard which we dropped using suppressed weapons.
One of the more experienced guys who was on watch spotted a solitary sniper at the firehouse, so we regrouped then ranged, zeroed and executed him from 650m.

Making our way out when teamspeak came alive telling us of mutiple targets camping Stary.
So while he kept them spotted and dropped a couple trying to make a break for it, we came around from behind and flanked them on their left clearing them all out.

So everyone survived the day with 2 of them being first day players.

Well rather devastated, all of our vehicles which we had stockpiled are gone :S. No idea if they were stolen, blownup, hacked or just eaten by the server :(

One positive of last night was that I found a Mk48 Mod 0.... That thing is absolutely insane against zombies :D. It is however like a dinner bell, but since it is a one shot kill and comes with 100 rounds of zombie smashing death per clip, the dinner bell feature is actually welcome :D. I went from ~550 kills to 760+ while doing an elektro run with it picking up Ori after he bled out.
