Yes it comes to a point in time when you have to say good bye to a old friend ;One that has given you a lot off fun and enjoyment over the years as it has for me and a lot of others that have played BF2 that is dead or dying a slow death on other servers; It is now joning BF1942 BF Nam R-I-P all of you;
For now I for one have a new love BF3 and before long there will be BF4 coming out.... :D
But now and then I will see if any thing is happening in the BF2 forum.

Ah well, with the new job I doubt I could even get around to checking emails that often never mind any BF stuff.

Yea, not really interested in BF3 at the moment. Will have to see what reviews 4 get before I would look at it.

Well mate from me its a big improvement on BF2 let me tell you I didn't think that anything can be better then BF2 and I have played most of them personally if you enjoying BF2 you are definitely going to enjoy BF3.

There's more people playing PR each weeknight than there are on vanilla. RIP indeed you magnificent game, thanks for all the mashi.

...And not to derail the thread, but I seriously twitched psychotically when I read BF3 is better or on par with BF2. Not even the same country. One is CoD with vehicles and 64 players, the other is BF2.

Look to Planetside 2 for something more akin to the BF franchise of old. Think of it as 2142 on some major steroids.

Its good to know that PR is strong as ever I have played it now and then enjoyed it a lot of it; Know as far as BF2 on GON yes it is dead; But that's not to say that some servers around the world are going strong with BF2 and PR and I am not knocking BF2 at all; AS for BF3 well for me I'm enjoying it it has some drew backs and a lot of good points as well;
I don't no if you have BF3 in your collection of BF games its worth having a play of the game; Now as far as 2142 on some major steroids"Yes totally agree with you on that I gave that copy to my grandson and he loved it so much he throw it into the bin; In the next one or two years I believe we will be seeing BF4 coming out maybe that will override BF3 don't no just have to see on that one;
Thank you for your remarks on this all the best for you in your gaming.
