Excellent, much more interesting now :D

That's a bit odd, anytime in particular you find the site slowing down? I take it you mean the website it's self and not when downloading content from our file library.
Yeah the website, file downloads was where i got my speed from. Its actually the fastest i have ever seen the net at uni. Most files i have to get are hosted overseas and the max i get then is ~5mb/s.

Cas Bitton wrote:We have been monitoring the sites performance over the past fortnight very closely. It's holding up well, minus a few scheduled patching outages that pulled the site offline for a short time :)

hmm, it was lagging at the time i posted. Its not lagging now (and i'm at home with slow net). By lagging i mean 2-5s longer than usual, not much, maybe just a peak load issue. I'll try it again on monday at uni and report back if its still an issue. It could actually be my browser (at uni) with the issue too.

Now, if a thread was active enough it will show the same thread 10 times on the list as it seems to just point towards the last 10 posts. Needs to have it coded so a topic can only appear once there.

These are the options we have available to play with :), if this can be manipulated to give the desired result. I'm happy to give it a whirl :)

Still some minor style issues going on. Log out button at the top is gray instead of green, for example (in IE9 anyway).

So a copy and paste from the Recent threads on the old site won't work? I'll just bookmark the forum then.

We can probably throw this site design on to the wish list too.

Is it bad that i've spent the last half hour looking at different sites with that? D:

Made my day after finally finding out that Hypernia moved their BF3 servers (haven't found out if they moved everything or not yet).

A feature I'd love, is to be able to strip colour codes from people forum posts, force it all to be black text.

I think we all know which user makes me want this
