I did the same thing, got it on Steam pre-price jack.
I also made a pre-order of the physical version at EB before they announced pricing on the Steam version. I really need to get around to cancelling that.

Dark Souls is worth $70.

it doesn't mean I support this price rise, but its one of the few games that you will enjoy.

Haha coupon wizardry, i like it. I just used that -20% coupon Mekon posted on page 1, plus i had some crappy game i got for free from GMG ages ago that was worth a few bucks trade in.

I've heard nothing but great things about it since launch and I've been keen to check it out, the amount of games to play through on my radar (and backlog) is pretty massive though . I'm only now about to finish Crysis 1 (2 was fantastic!), the steam sale was extremely kind to me.
