QLD has a kw per tonne ratio? damn NSW needs one of them. Still, fun to see the odd occasional p-plater in a rex/skyline here...

heh, it would make commo's legal there about 1.8 tonne per 15kw arent they? them and those landcruiser monstrosity's...

I think the SA laws are only recent. I remember driving around turbo cars on my P's, good times :P

Gotta love Tassie too, we don't have any laws on what you can and can't drive as a provision driver. Although we do have certain restrictions for motorcycles, but I'm fairly certain that is national.

QLD does for p-platers, can be turbo but has to be under 125kw/tonne.

I checked that out, I wanted to drop an L67 from a calais into my storm

my storm is 1600kg at 140kw unsupercharged

the l67 has 170fwkw, in a 1600kg car, so it's legit.

You still need a genuine reason for owning that car, kinda makes it a little redundant.

No you don't, you don't have to answer those questions. The point of filling out the exemption form is that QLD DOT isn't going to spend thousands of man hours to check every car, it's purely for you to prove it fits the guidelines. I did not have to provide a reason as it fell under the Moderately powered turbo/supercharged vehicle law. You just skip the questions

Arrived. Currently has no rear tinting. Currently needs a wash (as does Grace).

Very happy purchase. Info from seller and mechanic suggest 240KW after review of all the docs supplied.

Still sad that Grace will leave soon. Still finding ways to try and keep her (zero logic involved.)

Driveway is NOT flattering to the suspension. One day I'll get a pic on level ground.

Nice wheels! What make and model are they? Wouldn't mind getting something different for the 'R soon...
