lolz, i have an m24 in my bag, i auto switch out and some points in time.

do you actually drop the weapon, or do you go into your bag and click take. because for me it auto swaps the weapons, my m24 in my bag goes to where my akm is, and my akm goes into my bag

well i am glad i didn`t shoot you 2 guys then :P

was sitting in cherno and snuck into a house, don`t know how these 2 guys didn`t see me. unloaded a clip into both of them to find out they had nothing decent.

found another guy out in a field who said friendly, went through my bag and took my m24 >:| i almost shot him untill he put it back, ran with him to starry to find out starry didn't load anything, no zombies, no loot, except for my 2nd tent i am now carrying around :D.

found him a dead body so he took the remington and healed me up. found another guy running to starry, so he ran up the hill to meet him since he said he was friendly, i take off into the woods/bushes *yes i should have shot the pair of them* but i logged out before they could find me and loot me

It **** around with the ammo. If it tries to move the ammo with the gun, it can delete the gun, and other times it will just work how it's expected to.

I **** hate it.

I didn't realise how loud the Enfield was until last night while roaming around with my ragtag bunch of murdering psychopaths. Nothing compared to the AN FAL though, damn portable cannon that thing is.

FAL is useless. Innaccurate and nowhere near as good as an M14 AIM. Weapons I've found good are M4A1's, Mk48 Mod 0, M249 SAW, DMR, AS50 etc...

FAL, M16's, AK-74's are all in the sin bin for being worse than a Revolver.

Enfield holds a special place. Innaccurate as all hell (unlike real life!!!) but has a heat scope. That alone is enough to carry a second primary ;)

are you srs? lee inaccurate? i could nearly hit a target the same range as the cz with that thing

mebbe yah just gotta know where to aim

same goes for my AKM i like iron sights more than scoped rifles, better for close quarters and medium range.
long range shooting with anything other than the 107 / as50 is just a waste of ammo

Yup, you can use an open sighted rifle like the Lee Enfield for up close work, but also far away and thats the benefit of iron sights. I got stuck at one point with a CZ as my only weapon, and getting up close and person with zeds was a nightmare.

Mate and I are in the process of trying to find and fix up vehicles. As someone else said, its what you make of it I guess. Right now for us it's survive for as long as possible whilst trying to find and fix a vehicle.
Then we'll play hit and runs on towns until we most likely get killed :)

Enfields are accurate as ****.

So are FALs.

I don't know what you're doing, but you're doing it wrong. M16s and AKs are great too. I feel you're just being fussy.

Moose and I played some more tonight, ventured into no mans land, many shots were fired, few were killed, but twas not us, this is a victory in itself! Clearing a firestation with my M249, actively hunting another survivor that ran in there was one of the most intense moments I've had in DayZ yet, even if he logged out, c'est la vie, eh?

I've struggled to get anywhere in the last few nights of playing.

Tonight, I managed to get a foothold after spawning in Kamenka, slowly accumulating stuff including an AKM (with a sole 30rnd mag) on the third deerstand I hit up. Unfortunately, about 10 mins later while sneaking around in Pavlovo, I turned around too quickly inside a doorway and had my legs broken  The sound my my bones breaking alerted all of the zombies in the vicinity, which quickly consumed 28 of my 30 rounds fending off the horde. Crawling around with no morphine wasn't much fun, and after checking all the buildings in town, I gave up, found a friendly zombie nearby and threw flares at it until it was grumpy enough to take notice of me and finish me off. Called it a night there.
