At launch I grabbed a 32GB card, I'm using around half of it at present. Yep, a few cheap PSN cards on sale pushed me towards a number of digital purchases recently in combination with some fantastic PSN sales.
The convenience of having what you want on hand at all times is awesome! As usual there is always a downside, games really do vary in size. Some PSN only titles are a bit smaller ~500mb, but if your grabbing regular games like wipeout 1.4gb, Resistance ~3GB. The initial choice of memory card size will start to show it's true value (or lack of) in a few minutes if you didn't put much pre-thought into it and just grabbed a 4GB card to get you by.
- Games I absolutely adore, that have replay value and I'll always want to have on hand = Digital - So far this has been Wipeout
- Games that are massive in size (it's pretty easy to determine this with a google search), I'll import at a reduced price and happily throw the card in = Physical - So far this has been MLB 12 The Show, Uncharted
I'll be grabbing plenty more PSone/PSN titles over the next few months, nothing is overly massive in size but it is bloody awesome to get games on demand at launch
I managed to get Gravity Rush minutes after it was released in Aus, cheaper then JBHIFI and with the bonus DLC because I grabbed it from PSN during the launch week. I can't find an issue with that at all
