Feels strange having to look at iinet stuff on internode because AAPT are now iinet which means I can't see AAPT anymore or internode because iinet stole them all.

I wish my company would hurry up and give me my group certificate so I can shoot it off to my accountant and get an idea on what (if anything) I'll be looking at for a return this year. Then the Missus will expect me to do something responsible with it, like put it into the wedding fund, or pay off a credit card So not happening.

I've geared my tax to return as little as possible... in effect making sure I get as much pay each fortnight with a tiny buffer in case I have to pay a little more than expected (always guesstimate 5% extra). My yearly 'bonus' is just that, my actual bonus. I'll get anywhere from 3-9k for fantastic work

Also, we've always had our group certs available via our HR intra-web site no less than 5 days after start of financial year. Sucks to be you Disco

We got the results from our EBA vote last week today, fuuuuuuuuuu, we here all voted yes but I rather suspect some people didn't vote, and I want to find those people and hit them with a big stick.

As for tax, if I knew how I'd have mine set up to get less each fortnight and get a decent tax return as a kind of forced savings because I don't get no bonus The EBA vote we just did included a bonus, but the airports don't want it.

i think some of this return is going on the CC, paying my course outright, paying back the parents, and maybe buy some presents for self.
BUT it will likely go on a shiny new monitor for him, and some presents for me and the rest on the CC.
