I think the answer is to find seven skills that all work well together. It doesn't feel spammy to me when I use all seven in each fight.

That's it Marius. My aim is to pick two weapons which have skills that feed each other in terms of enemy debuffs and other skills which get bonuses in those debuffs states.

Yeah I found pistol-rifle did that quite nicely. I wrote a guide about how to do that with those weapons here: viewtopic.php?f=258&t=194629

All 14 skills I take - actives and passives work together, so you're not spamming one skill more than once or twice.

Wow... they increased performance optimization by about ten times as good as it was. I'm impressed. Have no lockups or slowdowns at high graphics now.

Been playing round with my pistol/rifle build, changed it slightly due to bug fixes and skill changes. This is what I usually do now:

1. Fire hinder the advance. This is a grenade launcher area attack that snares.
2. Shoot trigger happy as they crawl towards me. This is a ranged resource builder that also applies a DoT when it hits a snared target.
3. Shoot fire in the hole once get to 5 rifle stacks. This is a single target grenade launcher attack.
4. Activate lock and load to replenish rifle resources.
5. Shoot fire in the hole again.
6. Throw down above the law - is a short ranged pistol ground target area DoT attack.
7. Use pistol Shootout ability.
8. Use my pistol auto resource builder to finish off. If I need more resources then this will build them.

Then for passives I take passives that apply weakened, exploit weakened and exploit snares.

It's anything but spammy. :)

It seems I have a key.
Now all I need is a time machine so I can get it installed in time.

Here are some shots of the PvP.

PvP is basically like Battlefield. You have large zones with objectives to take.

You also get a huge amount of xp from it. You can see in my second and third shots that I was getting one ability point per kill.

I'm thinking Cerberus, personally. It has the coolest name of the English-language servers announced thus far.

What "level" do you need to be for PvP, Marius? Or can you just join any time after the introductory stuff?

Um, join any time I'm pretty sure. Just that your gear at the early levels might be pretty crappy.

wow, randomly picked this game up today after thinking I was going to pass on it, watched a quick stream of towellie on twitch playing it and it looked cool so I bought it....I also need something to pass 2 months (august 25th :P gw2) quickly aswell and I think I have made a good choice so far. Im on the Huldra server after seeing a few posts saying it was the non official oceanic server.

Its very very different and thats very very good :D, cant wait to see how pvp is going to turn out, Im going to play a Hammer tank guy...man.

I ended up on the Huldris server (unofficial oceanic). A few went cerberus as it was labeled as the pvp server by some people. You can do everything with anyone from any server, except for Fusang, the 225player pvp zone.

I'm on the Arcadia server. Here's my character... she's a shotgun/assault rifle healer. I'm very much enjoying it so far.
