I feel for your ping. ADSL 2 urgh, I'm on Reach with Node and currently getting the full 8megabit's somewhere in the sticks 5.8km's from my exchange :D

Oh and I'm north of Brisbane getting 29ms ping to Sydney. Considering it took Telstra about 4 years to fix the damn line down our road I used to think 60-70ping to Brisbane was good...

Just goes to show how bad the copper is in Australia. Very very badly laid lines...

Oh and on a 200GB plan hitting the cap 9 months in 12...

Oh so your exchange just got upgraded then.

Call us back and complain when you live in the middle of the city and can only get adsl 1 speeds because "there's too much line attenuation", more recently my net is just **** 3/4 of the day and rather than my glorious 150k I get 25k, LOVE trying to even open an email on that... I remember preloading HL2 on my 512kbps ADSL1 connection a week before release. I haven't looked back.

I recently bought a physical copy of Max Payne 3 for the PC because it was $20 cheaper than anywhere else. Almost took just as long to install the game from the 4 DVDs than it did to download it. With digital, I could have started the download before work, come home and started playing.

It's just easier in every way.

I prefer physical copies. Mainly cause i like to collect. But i still get caught out with steam sales quite a lot, games just get so cheap. Like the other day LA Noire $3 or something. But i resisted.
