I learned today that I can voice chat on the direct channel or whatever it is, and only folks within range can hear me. On top of that.. it's directional, so I can tell where they are when talking, and as they walk away it fades :D

Very neat feature.

I pointed this out in an earlier post and apparently it's the general attitude.

I've had two bicycles in this game, but both times I was too well kitted out to want to ride around playing music.

Must remedy that.

Nah man, you just have to ignore the gear and get your inner hippy on, just pick the right song and most people are too busy pissing themselves laughing to shoot at you, having your best kit on you also means it's more exciting (was rocking full utility everything today +m249+DMR.

after help from matty and DiscoLT i got it yesterday.
i dont live long enough to find a weapon as of yet, i keep being eaten.
the only humans ive seen so far was i walking down a road and two guys on bikes rode straight past me. they must of known i had nothing on me, they rode maybe 2meters past me as i stood there.
it felt like the Road.

If you can catch up with someone it helps significantly, I know I learned more in an hour playing with Moose than I did every other time I tried to play solo. It takes a lot of the hard work out of finding gear when someone knows where to look :)

Next time I get a decent amount of time to play and you're around MT, we'll try to figure out where you are and I'll try to make it to you.

I'm having a major problem at the moment - I keep getting killed, try to respawn - and come back as the same 'dead' guy, with barely any health, blood, and broken bones, but no matter how many times I die, I keep coming back as that guy, unable to start a new character.

Server jumped as well. It follows me wherever I go. Screw this.

Log in to either anz 8 or canada 2, either of those will partially fix the debug forest or buggered spawns (nfi why, they just do).

Could be worse though, I spawned naked in the wasteland last night lol.

Epic solo trek last night through the mountainous terrain from Elektro to Stary Sobor. But not before scaring the **** out of some Team Tarrare guys with some flashlight antics on the NW Elektro Hill. Night-time + thermals are highly effective it seems. Though they couldn't tell if it was me or a rabbit they could see :P

Found that I am able to raid a lot more effectively now that I have slowed down and learned to use crouch-run/walk. Only problem is now that I am somewhere between Stary Sobor and NW Airfield with only 800 blood and nobody to give me a transfusion. The risks of going it alone are huge it seems.

I intend to make Devil's Castle my base of operations.

I finally found a gun last night, and while i was crouch walking around in a 2 story building i somehow manage to aggro about 8 zombies, wasted the 8 rounds of ammo i had and then, ran for my life into the forest, got rid of them and but now i need to get my blood back up as im at about half health.
