Minimise to desktop crash

I was having a similar problem last year. I got a 580 when BF3 came out, the game would minimize and become unresponsive (also happened in some other games too). Checked event viewer, had a display driver stopped responding issue. Checked around for ages and eventually settled on upping the voltage with MSI afterburner. No more crashes to this day.

+1 for me also, this has been a common problem with BF3 since day 1.

Common problem since day 1? Its been fixed for me since I made the change, no problem since. Not sure if I just missed the message or you haven't made the change yet. I haven't had this problem since I did it, it was a card problem for me, not a BF3 problem.

I made the change when BF3 was released...but if you put the voltage on the 580 back to stock you will still get the crash....so yes BF3 still has issues with stock 580 voltages.
