So it's apparently offline-able, but what about installing Origin?

Also, as long as it at least carries over the visual car modifying, and perhaps the ability to tune, from the old Most Wanted I'll be happy. I missed that in Hot Pursuit.

This! So much this! This is what happens when you make a fun game based on real physics. You can use everything you have learned in life... your brain is tuned already for dealing with it. (And sure, your tyres have a magical ability to put power down, but whatevs).

My other big gripe with a lot of non-sim racers is they break steering feedback, for no good reason. They just slap on some 'wheel tries to return to center with vibration' model, rather than the fairly simple 'wheel tries to return to where the direction the car is going (with vibration)'. (The pajecka model, based on the caster in your suspension, but its bloody simple). This model means that when you get sideways, you can feel it, and feel the right point to countersteer towards. Its intuitive, fun, and makes it easier to drift / keep a car stable (and is kinda like a reality).

Drives me nuts when I'm like phone dog in NFS, and I know my car is sideways, but I'm like "I have no idea what i'm doing, derp".
